Guild Services Retiring

Actually, I did. Reading is fundamental. Guild Services Retiring - #184 by Tínkerbells-moon-guard

Exactly what a pirate would say.

Yes I read that… it sounds like you’re talking about 2 WoW account’s on the same Bnet not 2 separate Bnet account’s.

Nope. 2 different people, 2 different accounts, not even the same payment info. But because we’re married and don’t have an issue with it, we have access to each other’s accounts.

Sounds to me like you are looking for misinformation for entertainment or accusing of something happening that is not. :upside_down_face:

No not at all. I just misunderstood and for that I apologize.

A peace offering.

oh, that’s a good call. Since aren’t crafting orders - currently - only server specific?

I will add one other thing to this conversation.

The 1st time I played Beta was for MoP. Then again for Legion. And while I played SL Beta as well, I wasn’t concerned with guild functionality with any of those expacs.

With Warbands out, I am curious as to whether they will have functionality WITH guild banks. Don’t get any knickers wadded up about Warbands and Guild Banks just yet. So far in Beta to date, they do not integrate AT ALL right now.

Like many of you, I’ve been concerned and curious as to HOW cross-faction guilds work. I haven’t counted my husband’s total toons, but I myself am around 45 +/- total across 7 realms, with 3 public guilds and a few more personal ones. LOTS OF TIME, EFFORT, AND GOLD went into those guild banks over the years since 2010!!! So I understand ALL of you who are concerned about how that will all work.

In my testing (see my prior posts with Cayna how I accomplish that), I have had ZERO issues inviting or transferring guild membership to either account OR faction. Everything has gone smooth.

What we don’t know yet is how that affects guild crafting orders. And I believe Blizzard is working more on the gameplay end of things than on the professions → guild work orders side of things. After all, there is a deadline in place to meet launch date, and professions do not level your character. Last I checked, and I’m really not that far into the leveling process yet, you can’t do profession quests until level 80 anyway, and professions in Beta are still a bit subdued in importance thus far. There just isn’t enough information yet available to TEST guild work orders as to whether they work cross-realm or not. I’ve only had interaction with the work order NPC’s so far, which is going to be one of your main ways of leveling your professions.

Since we don’t have word and haven’t been able to TEST guild work orders as to whether they work cross-realm or not, I am actually planning on purchasing a guild transfer on one of my realms that seems to have very, very, very little crafting activity on to a higher populated realm (though running into some minor difficulties with that, which may fail the plan). Yes, I could wait until TWW launches and just transfer ownership. It’s more of a $35 “security convenience”. But like many of you have experienced as well, what we see work in Beta doesn’t always come to fruition in Live. So if you have a large guild or one that has been around for years and years with all the bells and whistles, give it a hard think before you make your choice.

Knowledge is Power, so do your homework and choose wisely.

Can I get it’s Rolex present?

Isn’t the AH now based on region, and not server?

Trade Mats and Consumables and quest completion items are Region-wide so far (no announced changes to that).

Crafted gear, BOE’s, and Mounts and Pets are still sold server-specific on the AH.

So useless for helping me move say recipes or old common quality armor from a guild bank on a server I don’t play on to a server I do play on.

Not aimed at you personally but I’m just wondering why no one from beta can chime on in the simple question here I have which is:

Can someone invited to a guild whose gm is on another server, that was founded on another server, withdraw items deposited in the guild bank thus moving an item from one server to another?

The answer is going to be yes. It just can’t be tested on the beta since all beta realms are connected.

If the recipes or old common quality armor isn’t soulbound or warband bound (which basically means account bound, kinda like the MoP treasure-finding weapons were/are), then you can absolutely extract them from your guild bank, put them in your warband bank, and then transfer them to your other guild bank. PLEASE do your research other than the forums. Youtube, like Soulsobreezy, Bellular, and MrGM all have great videos on warband information.

And yes, someone invited to a guild who is on another realm initially can withdraw items from the guild bank. This has been stated repeatedly throughout this thread. Reading is fundamental.

Edit: You can’t put account-bound items into a guild bank. Sorry. My bad for wording it confusing like that. Anything that binds to your account can be used by your warband (all characters on the same account). If it is not soulbound and can be deposited into a guild bank, then there is no reason not to put it into a warband bank, provided you have the space to do so…but warband bank tabs are quite large, and then transfer the items to your other guild bank.

Which realm is dead? I have all my chars on the lowest population realm I could find and people are everywhere.

Can you please link that interview?

This is fair.

No I cant sorry. I have read MANY War Within interview recaps on MMO-Champ and other websites. Im not going through every post to track it down. But the interview doesnt matter.

We have tested this in BETA and what myself and others in this thread have stated is 100% how it works in beta. You dont need an interview for verification you can literally verify it for yourself right now. If you have beta Access that is

Tinkerbells has tested this too

Ah, so the source is always a trust me bro then.

It dawned on me last night that this is a feature I’ve been waiting for… kind of.

I’ve been keeping my fingers crossed for years for Blizzard to connect a realm to Moon Guard. It’s such a big realm that names are becoming scarce so I grabbed names on some dead RP servers just in case they took pity on us.

Well, my revelation last night is this basically is a realm connection and now I can use all those awesome names on my second account. Just gotta move my alts there.

He did point out can you create a character right now on Beta and verify it.
