Sorry. But retuning and increasing the time taken for instances to be cleared is wanting the authentic vanilla experience.

Wanting pure 1.12 isn’t.

No changes is really in 2 camps now. Those who really want authentic vanilla as was taking into account its entire lifecycle, and those who know little but private servers. The latter wanting things easy.

1.12 is the authentic 1.12 vanilla experience

Now if you don’t like 1.12 asking for say 1.5 would be an authentic vanilla experience, but rebalancing 1.12 is not.

I think vanilla wow remastered would be an awesome game. I would probably play the hell out of it. That’s not what classic wow is though. It’s not a remaster. When they say experience they really mean mechanics.

Vanilla wow released - November 23rd, 2004

Patch 1.12 released - August 22nd, 2006

Burning Crusade Released - January 16th, 2007

“The ALL ENCOMPASSING 3-4 month experience that WAS patch 1.12 IS THE DEFINITIVE VANILLA EXPERIENCE”

LMAO Patch 1.12 was in the game for as long as the launch patch for BFA was in the game.

BFA Launch - July 16th, 2018

Patch 8.1.0 - December 11th, 2018

Unfortunately i know. Blizzard got my hopes up when they said “authentic vanilla experience” not as of some patch etc.

And nobody ever “deposited” things to alts by mail and then had that alt deposit thosecvitems in the guild bank?

You can try to obfuscate all you want. The fact remains that guild banks are far more convenient than guild bank alts, desdpite your claims to the contrary.

In fact, that convenience is why Blizzard added guild banks according to Blizzard in that article that was previously linked by a pro guild bank advocate.

Why did you need 14 parts? I thought threads were infinite now…

Na, its really only 1 part that’s been kicked alive 13 times by Fesz wanting to make it sound like the no change request has higher precedence.

Unless i am mistaken, Blizzard stated that even mail to alts will have a one hout delay in classic.

It was a port from the old forums we’re there was a 500 cap.

I don’t remember hearing that.

Oh dear, oh my, are you suggesting Blizzard would make a non vanilla change? Because mail to alts was instant in vanilla.

If true, then Blizzard must be doing that for their own QoL reason.

Or has it been kept alive by Padrepwn, Redheadchild and a couple of trolls wanting to make it sound like changing classic has higher precedence?

Unless I am mistaken, mail to alts was not always instant.

That’s similar to the point Tom Chilton brought up back in 2007 when he said that players already had the storage space.

‘We want to actively give players a free alternative to using a mule character,’ says Chilton.

I’ll give credit where it’s due in that you do see the convenience aspect. We still disagree on the security, but it’s been a reasonable and respectful disagreement.

Huge difference between keeping a thread going and jumping thread to thread spouting off and blasting everything with the same attempt at shutting down conversations.

If Guild Banks is localized to 1 thread. Why bother no-repeating as if you can make it go away?

Only one possible conclusion. The belief that no change is the rule and not the guideline.

I started in 1.3. It was instant then.

I wouldn’t say a distraction as much as an alternative that simultaneously mocks the AV debate. Anything that took something from the “ermuhgerd 1.12’s gunna kill Classic befur it even sturtz” is worthwhile.

However people might feel about GBs, there’s nobody claiming that inclusion or exclusion will bring about the end of the world.

Of Warcraft.
