1000g, 28 slots. No further upgrades. I would probably be fine with that.
There has been more than one idea like this that has been floated.
It does not have to be the same as retail.
However I will say this. Blizz never said one word about personal guild banks.
If it was this big deal some are claiming. Steps would have been taken to insure there were not being used by individuals.
So i think that is seriously being overstated.
I have no issues though if restrictions are made to keep them from being used like that but at the same time it's like well people will still use alts so what's the point again?
Blizzard also specifically mentioned only the convenience that guild banks provide when they announced guild banks were being implemented. They did not say one word about "security", exploit, "exploitable systems", account sharing or any of the other myriad reasons people want to use to try to justify their desire to see the non vanilla QOL convenience being added to classic.

guild banks were TBC, not vanilla. therefore not part of vanilla nor will it be part of classic. Unless you are looking for classic + or classic 2.0

Bluzzard also said no sharding in classic.
Blizzard also said they wanted communication from players and they would do a better job of communication.
Blizzard also said they would never do classic.
Blizzard also says playability, quality, and a whole bunch of other things. Then we get: What you don't have a phone? Lol.
See a pattern there or should I continue Mr. Trusty?
Doesn't matter why they put them in TBC. If it lowers tickets for GM's we might be getting them anyways. See loot trading.
So our convenience won't matter but blizz's does. Obviously.

a huge part of vanilla's guilds was trust and loyalty is everything. your gm or whoever would usually keep the guild's items on an alt and you had to trust them.
it wasn't based on trust, it was based on faith.
Trust has evidence and safegaurds to back it up.
Faith is blind.
Guild bank alts used faith not truest because any tracking system was easily manipulatable to show false information, there was no safegaurds to prevent abuse as once it hit that players guild bank alts inventory it was his to use as he pleased.
Guild bank alts used faith, and when I played vanilla I saw what that faith did, got scammed one to many times with that faith system to want to use it again.
It's either guild banks or I won't be donating to anyone's personal slush fund.
We even had a discussion on this in a previous guild bank thread, about making a guild and naming the guild "fundmyaltsmounts" and similar names and just using the "guild bank alt" for free gold.
Guild bank alts shouldn't be left in as "the system to use" because of how easy they are to turn into a scam.

blizzard if blizzard adds guild banks it will be to reduce the customer service requirements of the scam called guild bank alts. Not for player conveniences but for theirs.
It wasn't in vanilla that's true, but neither was a lot of stuff we know is going in the game to prevent cheating, scaming, server instability, exc.
Since it was not directly addressed at Blizzcon, it makes sense this would be on the forums....again.
Since they did discount transmog directly at Blizzcon, guild banks are looking very unlikely. See the comment on Classic remaining its own ecosystem as well.

that was in vanilla, however the stuff used now is updated against the same thing. It is of original design and concept. However, things not in the orginal design and concept of vanilla i am against. Especially if it alters the game play and therefore not making it an "Authentic" version of vanilla.

so by alter gameplay you mean making people scamming others obvious because of the guild bank logs ?
The not logging out and into different toons constantly before a raid to get the supplies for the raid from the guild bank alts?
Or maybe the non existent inventory management of being inside a town?
It doesn't change any core gameplay.

Agreed. Everyone of those is nothing but a stretch to try and keep them out.
Inventory management goes out the window because of alts and the mailbox being used as storage.
Since server load is a concern all of those extra logins to move stuff around will impact server.

true
And the only time inventory management matters is in the open world, but in a town? The only place you can access guild banks? There is no inventory management in town.

If the code is sacrosanct in order to keep it pure they arent going to add things there were not Vanilla. The only time this would be the case would be for GM support issues that would be resolved.
Guild banks are already in the game. They will need to remove them. They are using the Legion client and going backwards. So a lot of the QoL stuff is being removed.
You can go the bankers right now, they dont even work in the demo. Nor is there even an interface to see a guild bank to click on vusally. The end result, guild banks, like achievements, werent in the game in 1.12.

I never really saw guild banks as a blessing even in tbc? I think they came out before wrath I could be wrong.
For everyone managed well another 100 had items left to rot or funds unused. Every player should manage their own consumables and things like boes should be decided on within the group. If that means using it or selling it so be it.
I wouldn't welcome back guild banks or perks regardless of the expansion to be honest.

They said they're looking at alternatives, that one isnt set in stone whatsoever.... There will not build guild banks, that is set in stone.
In addition, I am very happy you said sharding will never happen. TY, glad you agree out outcry has worked. Also Idc about a separate sub dude, when brack said "classic server option" my exact thought was oh cool I get that lobby game for free.

Oh? I didn't see that. When did they set that stone?
They better put in guild banks, I don't want to have to share accounts with someone to have a guild bank alt. And to the people saying guild space was at a premium, I know I had alts to hold stuff in the bank, why didn't you?
