No he was correcting my math… telling me to add the individual bank slots to the guild bank slots.
His point is that it would cost to much… I will add that…
But the guild bank cost was set to TBC levels of gold… so it is not really an apples to apples comparison. If they added banks I would assume that the unlock costs would be adjusted down.

I would be fine if guild bank costs were adjusted UP as a gold sink.
1k for the 1st tab, considering if guild banks are added it won’t be until one of the last phases, when gold inflation is starting to become an issue.

Exactly, if they added bank alts you could get the same number of slots with one toon as you would with 10ish…

Guild banks are not needed in terms of the space they offer, the need comes from the non QoL effects they have. Like the security, customer service work load reduction, server strain reduction, exc.
While that is the best benefit of Guild Banks that is literally the least used reason to have them… simply put they are used for the space…
Just because most people don’t think of reasons to add things beyond QoL doesn’t mean it can’t be added for non QoL reasons.
Being able to find the merits of a change beyond QoL is what makes a change worth discussing for if it could be worth adding it or not.
Blizzard actually listens to us no-changers often and they implement qol changes where needed. We’ve asked politely many times for guild banks- a charge led by our fearless Padrepwn.
Guild banks will be in the game at release and it is a good thing.
I agree and as someone who will be running my guilds bank… I would like a QoL upgrade. But I also know that the amount of materials that can be placed into a guild bank is far more detrimental to the game than is any QoL upgrade Guild Banks provide.

The good thing is guild banks have other merits outside of QoL so we might see them in classic.
That must be why they were so obviously in the BETA.
No place in Classic. Affects the game a great deal if you use your brain and actually think about it.
