Absolutely. I’ve lived long enough to know a potential scam when i see one. I may still just start my own guild but work is really crazy right now. I wonder why guild banks were never added in vanilla. Oh well. Hell ive seen some people say 1.12 isnt even vanilla and some prolly wont play now because theyre giving us 1.12 AV…i never really had fun in AV, even in early patches of vanilla on a private server.
So my honest opinion is, if guild banks wont affect classic negatively then lettem have it. Who cares? There wont even be that many people getting that far in the game anyway.
Never underestimate the predictive powers of a true hunter, it’s our true strength. Predict the enemy and counter it before they even start that action.

No changes. First its guild banks, then achievements, then they removed defense, resistances, talents, add a shop, and we are playing retail again.
No changes. The slippery slope is more like putting large cracks in damn. Once Pandora’s box is open there is no going back. Retail has all the guild banks you could want.

Hasn’t started sliding with all the current changes. What makes you think guild banks will lead to anything else but guild banks? Loot trading has not lead to flying and monks.

Again, log into retail and you can have fun putting things in and grabbing them out of your fancy smancy guild bank all day. Just leave us people who want Classic alone.

It’s real simple. I want the traceability of the log. The UI and ingame storage mechanisms serve the same purpose as a gba.

You act like guild banks change how classes are played, or what gear they want, travel time, or what profession they will chose, exc.
They won’t. Guild banks do one thing. They remove the ability to blindly scam an entire guild because of the blizzard ran guild bank logs.
But you want to make it out to be this “evil” thing that will lead to BFA 2.0. and it won’t. Please stop fearmongering people into thinking a single change will make classic become BFA 2.0, because IF that was true I have bad news for you. It would already be to late.

What you fancy is retail, not Classic. NO CHANGES! Classic is Classic, you want retail. Thank you very much.
Gameplay tokens don’t change how classes play, neither do pets, toys, achievements, LFG, LFR, etc. And by that extension, removing resistance and defense doesn’t really change how classes play. Neither does making fancy smancy changes to batching or threat.
It comes down to you want certain changes that I don’t want, I want certain changes you don’t want, and the only way to make everyone the happiest possible is to make Classic Classic. Which means no changes. Everyone loses, and everyone wins that way.
If you want the modernity of functions of retail WoW, play retail. It was literally made for you tourists. Just let the people who want Classic have Classic, and those people, the core, the non-tourists, demand no changes as the core concept and compromise everyone already agreed on. Period. Its simple.

There’s exactly 1 change to Classic from the Vanilla content.

We’re using the pre-1.12.1 model, which has a low cost for training mount types and high cost for individual mounts.
