If guild banks are going in, they’re going in warts and all. That means I’m having half a dozen one character guilds with extra storage.
This whole guild bank debate is slowly becoming a joke.

“What if we modify them and put them in?”

“What if we don’t modify the guild banks, but make it more difficult for players to have them?”

“What if we modify them, make them more difficult for players to get and we wash the dishes for a week?”

“They fall in with the spirit of Vanilla, ya know. Plus they’re more secure and promote player interaction.”

Actually, weren’t the guild banks added in the pre-TBC patch, being officially in the game before the expansion was released?
Nope.
Guild banks were not added until patch 2.3.
That is three major patches almost ten months
Oh. There was SOMETHING added in that patch though that people have said they wanted and I forget what.
Even if there was something added in the TBC pre-patch, that would have been TBC and not vanilla.

I can only speak for myself. IMO, if it existed during vanilla, let’s discuss it. If it did not exist during vanilla, it has no place in classic, which is intended to be a recreation of vanilla that is as close to vanilla as orcishly possible.
Thankfully Blizzard asked people for opinions on what non-vanilla changes people want, so discussing them is 100% valid, regardless of your feelings about it.

Feel free to “discuss” all those non vanilla QOL convenience changes you want.
I’ll be here exercising my right to “discuss” keeping Classic as close to vanilla as possible.
We can then wait to see whether Blizzard favors convenience or authenticity.
