Yes, you will be able to send multiple items in a single mail in classic. Many people did this in vanilla via an add-on.
Add-ons could not bypass that one hour delay, though.

Vanilla did have a relatively small bank space. I’ll fill mine easily. I usually level ahead of my cooking skill, so I end up with recipes and meat to store for later. Crafting mats and collectors items too.
Bank alts are common and annoying to use, and will become nearly useless with a larger bank space. That would be a welcome change for me.

I never did. In fact, I have stated that I opposed the ability to mail more than one item being baked in. I have stated that my preference would be that people used an add-on to accomplish that.
I’ve also stated that if Blizzard stated that guild banks would be added to classic, I would accept their decision even though I did not agree with that decision. The same cannot be said of many guild bank proponents who have stated explicitly that if Blizzard announced that they would not be adding guild banks to classic, they would continue to pester Blizzard to give them their non vanilla QOL convenience.
I’ve also stated that in all likelihood, no one will get their ideal, dream version of Classic.

That was either a very poor and inaccurate assumption or a feeble attempt to twist my words by cherry picking out of context.
If you bothered to quote that entire post, you would have seen that I opposed even that “non vanilla convenience that an add-on could produce”.
But being honest about that would not support your zeal to attack me.

Adding one modern convenience to the mail system while retaining what some see as a major inconvenience with that same mail system is hardly conclusive proof that Blizzard will favor convenience over authenticity, though.
Your statement was all-encompassing.
We don’t have to wait and see, they’re already putting in non-vanilla QOL conveniences. This doesn’t mean they’re putting them all in, it’s a case-by-case basis. Will Guild Banks be put in? Almost assuredly not, that doesn’t change the fact that we are getting non-authentic, non-vanilla QOL conveniences.

We’re getting some things that are authentic, such as that one hour mail delay and vanilla balance. Does that mean that Blizzard favors authenticity over convenience?

What about if I stuck to Outland and Northrend? Or have they too fallen victim to the plague?
