Hey folks,
Normally this wouldn’t concern me much, but given that realm connections are not simple things, I figure it probably couldn’t hurt to bring this up. If I’m wrong, if something’s just showing weirdly for me but isn’t reflected in reality, that’s fine too.
22 hours ago, I put 10 each of warscroll of int, and shout onto our ‘raid II’ tab. (That shows on the log display for that tab).
As of right now, I’m eyeballing our tab, and I’m seeing 5 and 3 respectively… and no log entry to suggest that somebody took some out. I had a guild member go and look at the tab as well, and she’s seeing both the same number of items, and the same log entries as I do.
Are we looking at a situation where things are still a bit funky on the display front but will probably be fine once everything cycles through, people login, etc? IE just keep an eyeball on things? Or are those scrolls actually missing in action? (or am I completely blind? That’s possible too, heh)
I’m not really bothered about them. I can make more easily enough… but if there’s some guild bank weirdness that happened with the connection, that might be useful information… Any thoughts?
Did you craft them and immediately put them in the bank, or were they ones you crafted previously?
Crafted 10 of each, split them from my personal stack* of scrolls into seperate inventory slots, and plopped those in. I think. Hoping my memory isn’t shot here.
I was just wondering if you had an addon issue, or if you made separate stacks and put the wrong stacks in the bank.
Yep, UI corruption is a common suggested scenario that I’ve seen here over the years, and that was my first thought as well…
I went and badgered one of my other guild folks to take a look for me (she doesn’t use much more than DBM, bartender, etc)… she confirmed that what she’s seeing and what I’m seeing is the same.
As for the stacks… yep, a valid possibility. I have a screenshot though from both the initial guild person helping me, and my own that shows that 10 of each scroll are showing on the ‘log’ readout for that bank tab.
Eg:
Teranin deposited [War-Scroll of Intellect] x 10 ( 1 day ago )
Teranin deposited [War-Scroll of Battle Shout] x 10 ( 1 day ago )
Teranin withdrew [Potion of Unbridled Fury] x 20 ( 2 hours ago )
10 of each deposited according to the log… no other entries indicating someone touched them between then and now according to the log, and only 3 and 5 showing as available for being taken out as of right now.

You might want to file a bug report. There are at least two threads about changed totals in Guild banks after the connections in Customer Support. Letting QA know about the issues would be a good step at this point.

Yep, that was likely on the horizon.
The goal was initially to see if either you guys had seen other threads similar in subject… or if I could convince Vrakthis or any of the other blue folks to apply a mildly centaur-related eyeball to our guild bank and basically bluntly state if I was going bonkers, or if something does look funky (thus warranting a bug report).
Not looking to waste anyone’s time with a simple display error, red herring, inadvertently false information, etc… but I figured if something was up, here would be a good place to start.
And if the blue folks are busy, fair enough. No offense taken, no immediate concern, etc.

I would agree, that is what I see as well. Definitely report this in the Bug Report forum if you have not already, Teranin. It is entirely possible that some scrolls were removed, but we’d definitely want to check out what might be up.
