This thread linked above has Blueposts that acknowledge the generic “Missing item” fix is not going to suffice in this situation, they even mention creating a ticket will not do much, but that it has been escalated and is being investigated. At this point, we can just be patient and provide any potentially helpful details in this thread (paraphrasing the Blueposts).
I wish they’d disable the gbank entirely until this is resolved. I’m worried about what happens if we continue to use it. Firstly, will it make it that much harder for them to fix (like trying to fix your car’s engine while driving)? Secondly, what if it makes more things go missing? What if people who haven’t been effected yet have it happen to them?
I am not moving stuff in or out of mine.
Same, I find it too risky. Like, what happens if I put something in a slot that should already have stuff in it?
I’m doing the same, in fact, I’m not touching ANY of my banks until this is resolved.
Considered not taking the risk, I restocked a little and told guildies to use as normal. They might as well get it before more disappears.
If this is going to be the megathread, I’ll copy over my original report so the troubleshooting details are here.
It was after this that those same exact bugged slots just totally disappeared.
I lost 5 tabs of of guild bank, a lot of items that are rare transmogs, maybe hundreds of thousands gold…
They better fix this quickly…
Exactly. I’m not even playing; considering any progress or item gained could just be removed randomly.
I just lost 5 tabs worth of mogs. This is unacceptable.
this is happening to me also. along with trying to put items in or take out of the deposit tab not working. tried to make a ticket but it didn’t show up. It is also just a guild for my alts so I can have shared access to items
What should we do? I’m so worried about even checking mine.
/sat
not on this toon since she isn’t far enough to koin yet but idk how to change toons on here .
It’s on Tanaris for the guild The Ice Dragons
Same for me. 7 full tabs are now completely empty and I’m the only person in this guild/bank. I sure hope they fix this ASAP!
Just had a warband tab get deleted. The whole tab. Now I have to repurchase it.
Will try scanning and repairing the game.
It didn’t work. 4th tab is gone and I may have to repurchase it. I will put in a ticket.
I had the same thing happen in my guild (of which I am the GM) , literally thousands of items from multiple xpacs just gone, no withdrawals, no trace of them ever having been there. And I had put in a ticket the other day in regards to a separate issue only to get a “canned” response from blizz that they won’t replace items/ currency lost due to a glitch… wonder if I put in another ticket will I get the same response?
I had the same thing happen. I submitted the bug report for it and now all those “bugged” items are just gone.
Trollbane server, The Old Guard guild, one member (me) 12 alts., yesterday between 1200 and 1800 99%, tens of thousands of items disappeared from guild bank, no log entries concerning this just poof gone, All were DF crafting reagents and consumables, submitted ticket, automated reply closed ticket as resolved, reopened ticket, still waiting.
That could well be a trigger. The first day I saw about this issue, I rushed to check our guild vault and all was fine. Everything was there. I did a minor bit of shuffling, and it kinda glitched … suddenly refused to allow me to move something into a seemingly blank space. So I backed off and left it.
Logged in this morning to find the vault decimated. (well, probably more then).
Exactly the same stock message I received. I specifically spent time in my original message explaining that I was trying to pass on information that may help troubleshoot, including screenshots and examples, AND a note to please read and not send a stock reply. Honestly, I find it disrespectful and disheartening.
At the VERY LEAST if they’re going to do a stock reply, it should be relevant to the matter at hand, perhaps saying something along the lines of “we’re working on it, we’ll pass any relevant info on”.
But instead, they send a message that makes it blatently obvious they did not read the ticket at all.
