This is a very good explanation of both sides. I do not mean to be taken to the extreme to say guardian is trash and should not and can not be used. It is the lack of overall tuning done this expansion as a whole that has worsened the depth of guardian druids stigma.
We are not in the preferred state at which nothing is wrong dont fix it. Instead lots of bad changed were made going into BFA at which they feel have met standards and are being left alone.

The stigma is REAL. But if you have skill you bears can tank really well. I often have people whisper me and give me compliments on tanking. It feels good to showcase and prove to them that bears (ALBEIT with limited skill sets compared to other tanks) that we can still tank very efficiently and do a good job.

I know for a fact that they responded to one particular Bear issue a couple years ago, our pleas for an AoE stun (which they initially offered as an AoE fear, then changed to an AoE Disorient, which they then broke, then fixed, and then finally removed entirely). And while it all ended in some disappointment for me to lose the ability, I at least felt better knowing I got through to them on the issue and made a difference.

I find it funny how people, like you, and the others here, would dismiss an argument that is sound, logical, and backed by data and evidence, because itâs given by a level 20 without any achievements.
And how I would suddenly be taken seriously when I linked my character, if I was believed at all.
So all linking the character does is, at best, prove to a few people that Iâm not full of crap, while others (such as you three) that simply dislike me, would simply call me a liar. So what was accomplished?
