I like that idea 1000% - but it’s not always even possible. There’s no need to punish a guild by wasting a loot drop because they just didn’t have a particular class/spec for a particular raid night.

I don’t think that’s actually going to stop. The way I understand, the “loot casino” will still be able to drop multiples of the same item. Rings, cloaks, and necks are prime for that since any class/spec can use those.

So wait, is group loot making a comeback?
I’ve played for many years, but i’m much more casual these days and don’t follow everything thats going on.
From what I remember of group loot, was a lot more drama. I prefer the current system where I can even specify which spec I want loot for. I can’t remember if that existed with group loot though.
I hope this isn’t what is being considered. if it is, then ouch. It really doesn’t serve a purpose considering you can already just do /rolls to give away stuff you don’t need to others.
I admit, I kinda miss the roll box. Maybe just implement the roll box itself that someone could launch like a ready check for everyone to roll on an item.

You can still do that for everything outside of raiding.
Actually there are multiple reasons why personal loot isn’t being used in raiding anymore.
It’s universally hated by the majority of the raiding community.

Don’t need to prove it. The fact that it’s being changed shows that enough people have issues with personal loot in raiding.

The fact that it was changed to PL proves that abuse happened by that line of reasoning.
- There is more personal agency and control as an individual of your fate.
- There are some guilds that have awarded loot well for many years.
- Group and Master Loot puts players at the mercy of others, often in ways that aren’t fair.
- Trial players in a new guild may not get anything for weeks because that is the guild policy.
- When you kill a boss, it isn’t about if there is something on the corpse that you want, but if someone is going to give you that loot. It disconnects the reward from killing the boss.
- You deserve the loot for killing the boss.
- It’s not called Personal Loot anymore, it’s just Loot. This is how loot works in the entire game.
Ion in 2018 and nothing has changed since then.

dude you are a tool. everything you keep crying about, is no different than now… find a guild with raid gearing that you like. not all guilds act like you are trying to make it out to be. either you are a crappy guild leader or you just don’t know how to find a guild that aligns with what you want. you are that guy who joins a loot council guild and then cries you didn’t get what you wanted lol.
