Grimrail Depot

What’s funny is that, imo anyway, many of those older dungeons would work a LOT better with M+ than Grimrail does. Nexus, Utgarde Keep, and Utgarde Pinnacle would all work well imo.

At the end of the day, it’s the devs fault for not putting a stop to it. They should’ve stepped in and removed Grimrail in favor of a better dungeon like Shadowmoon or Everbloom that at least has some variety in how you pull it and open terrain.

They’ve said they are going to add Temple of the Jade Serpent M+ in Dragonflight.

Quite possibly the worst dungeon in the game to add to the m+ rotation. Oculus could give it a run for its money, I suppose.

Grimrail and Auch shouldn’t have been in the pull to begin with since there’s no real way to modify how you run the dungeon, it’s just a straight line to the end. Like that’s the entire reason on why Violet Hold wasn’t put into M+, since you couldn’t really change how you ran that dungeon.

SMBG or Everbloom would have been 100x better. And I’m not just saying that because I voted for those two.

Honestly, Oculus would have been a great dungeon for M+. It really wasn’t very complicated once you learned how to use the three button vehicles.

People just refused to learn so it became a meme.

I 100% agree Occulus would’ve been better than Grimrail.

Meant pre-MoP. Lol, it’s 5 AM.

MoP had Challenge Mode.

never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity

Occulus got a bad rep because it was grossly overtuned when it first came out, it wasnt bad later on but many people ran it once, had a bad time, then refused to run that place ever again.

Regardless of tuning, it wouldnt be a good m+ dungeon. Most of the affixes wouldnt work properly, if at all, while flying on the drakes.

Yeah, Oculus is basically the poster child for how perception outlasts tuning.

Eh, Dragons are mostly transport outside the last boss and the rest of the dungeon would work fine with affixes.

I voted for it because of its straightforward nature.

But if my vote screwed over the 20+ mythic pushers… win/win?

It’s certainly up there.

Admitting you’re a bad person isn’t something to be proud of.

Because I voted for my favorite dungeon?

Wow.

No, because you’re happy you possibly screwed over other players. Like you said. I’d never take pleasure in ruining the gaming experience of others.

Those players aren’t being screwed. The untalented few will cry about the additional challenge while the truly skilled will dig down deep and prevail.

20+ will continue to be pushed and the world will keep spinning.

This dungeon will seperate the wheat from the chaff.

To be clear, I identify as chaff in this scenario as I’ll never do more than a 15 in this dungeon.

Yeah.

On the day it posted Streamers and forum-goers were picking their favorites.
And seemingly within minutes the internet, being the internet, decided to do the exact opposite.

For an even better example of this, google how the Mountain Dew “Dub the Dew” promotion went, where people got to name and vote, anonymously, for what name they wanted for apple mountain dew. I described it on this forum previously and was immediately banned because of the child-like sensibilities of our easily offended snowflakes.

People saw three bosses and thought it would be the next Maw of Souls.

Oh i remember having a post where a decent amount of people said they were gonna love doing it and what not.

Nothing annoys me more than the extremely thin skin people seem to have acquired within the past twenty years.
