Griefing WSG As a Premade Mostly Streamers

you personally did not. you are white knighting a guy who is doing that very thing though. I am assuming at this point you havent really read the thread yet. Wont fault you there. Its fairly large already.

I dont see why we should. Think about this. If a premade is 2-0 and turtles the flag - they are hurting themselves. Period. The entire point of a premade is fast - reliable honor. Why they would shoot themselves in the foot is a mystery to me.

Because they can. Some people get enjoyment from the smallest things. Maybe they finished their bracket farm for the week - maybe they didnt want to start a new game after - maybe they were just being jerks. None of the reasoning matters because its not against the tos to do so - at best it goes against the intended gameplay for wsg.

Trash talk. Welcome to online gaming. Kill them, then tea bag their corpse if it gets to you. I’m not defending the behavior of these people I’m simply stating that there’s a solution to the “problem”, i.e. kill them.

I was ranked as Ele on Nef because I nova + sappered the adds and did an instant 35K damage.

Nice one! Ele has so little players that would be almost a 100 parse.

the fact heartseeker alliance seem cool makes me want to roll horde there. :stuck_out_tongue:

@OP
In vanilla this also happened sometimes, on both sides, neither side was worse at it.
Some times it even happened with most of the players on the side doing it not really being cool with it.

Best i can suggest is get your team to just end the BG and take the 15 minute break.
That’s what we did

Actually it is against the ToS, intentional grieving.

I’m just pointing out the flaw in your statement.

Yes, I did skip around, but (and to answer your question below about shaming this sort of behavior) is that I don’t want changes. I understand OP is asking for changes, I disagree with that, and I ask players to stop this sort of thing and try to be good sports because I don’t want to see Blizz try to fix it.

Yup, sad but true. This is why they introduced the damage to flag barres over time feature in WSG.

DKs kind of ended that though.

Could you show an example, provide a link, quote a reply where anyone in the history of wow over the last 15 years has ever been actioned for not capping the flag.

I wont wait, because it has never happened.

@Maggotrot, I really appreciate your honesty and I agree largely with what you say.

You’re an idiot.

They literally changed the entire state of the game because of this.

It was so large of an issue they couldn’t just hand out bans they had to change the entire game.

Move on scrub.

Maybe not, but they did add the timer.

Still failed to provide a link to any actual factual evidence that

Behavior that intentionally detracts from others’ enjoyment

Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009):** There is a now a 20 minute timer on this battleground. After that time, the team with the most flag captures wins. If this would result in a tie, the team that captured the first flag wins. If neither side has captured a flag, then the game ends in a tie awarding a single mark to all participants.

Please, if you want timed games go to retail.

Enjoy the world you create scrub!
