Grats to everyone on their Tyrael's Charger. However

Will your reading comprehension improve by then? That link literally says " The mount is currently unobtainable."

Not “never”, but “currently”.

But honestly even if they did say “will never be available again”, who cares. People and companies are allowed to change their mind, especially for a decision made 10 years ago.

The Brutosaur in the shop for $25 would be hilarious. Blizz, make it hapoen now!

do you see yourself as toxic?

Nah, they would never do it would less than $200, and even then it would still sell like hotcakes.

Only to toxic gatekeepers.

It never had value for them.

and you view this person as a gatekeeper?

Moral? The whole thing is based off capitalism which is amoral at best. There is no right or wrong here and it is totally appropriate for them to do what they want with their own product.

At Blizzcon (our very first hearing of this promo) “wow mount” was not used when referring to it being exclusive. He just say “you’ll get the exclusive in-game mount Tyrial’s Charger”.

I never said it was exclusive for a limited time. Only limited time thing was the Pass itself, and that just means it wouldn’t be an every day thing. It could have been seasonal or every decade.

The things I said that the “exclusive” could mean are:

  1. Exclusive to the Diablo WoW Annual Pass Promo.
  2. Exclusive to WoW and not their other games.
  3. Exclusive to pixels and not an IRL Charger.

But they were inconsistent and it has now lead to many people feeling bitter by their shady practice. And as I said before I don’t have an issue with it being rereleased (actually happy it is cause I have several friends who really wanted it), and they could have easily avoid all this if they releases it in with the new “Annual Pass” they currently have. Since the Annual Pass was limited, meaning it could come back, and they could have said the Charger was “exclusive” to the Pass.

I’ve been asking for years to remove limited stuff on items… why can we not allow other players things that they might have missed due to life circumstances? I have a Tyrael’s Charger I never use; maybe others will use theirs.

Ok, fine. Everyone can get everything. When is the Cindermane Charger available?

“you’ll get the exclusive in-game mount Tyrial’s Charger

Yes, an exclusive in game mount and it is exclusive to the game. That is all that is needed to say

They’re not inconsistent, they’re vague on purpose.

the promotion ended 11 years ago, calm down and let other people enjoy their new mount

I find myself imagining a marketing exec going: “This rage is a great advertisement for the shop! We should make people mad more often.”

(disclaimer: I’m not mad)

Long Boi next a handful of you should NOT have exclusive access to anything in this game, with this FOMO taking another hit I will be buying this right away.

Is this a “all publicity is good publicity” kind of thing :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

that’s waht the “a” and “only” means.

it doesnt say “for several limited times only” it says for A limited time ONLY.

Was that the mount you got from the Hearthstone deal? Had to win so many matches or something?

The hearthsteed was the three hearthstone win mount.

Oh there was also the rat mount, Sarge.

You said that the “exclusive wow mount” was because it was exclusive to WoW. Yes, if that was what they consistently said, but what was first said was, “exclusive in-game mount”, which just means it was “in-game” and not IRL - not which game. Because for all I know at Blizzcon the “in-game” could have been a Diablo III mount. These are inconsistencies.

And as I mentioned before I am not mad or upset that they rereleased them. I don’t like the shady practice, and believe if we want Blizzard to do better we need to hold them to higher standards and not let this type of behavior slide because “every business does it”.
