Which is not what you said. You said the following:
There IS point to participating. I explained why there’s a point to participating. There is more to participating than simply “muh exclusivity.” Which I explained. And yoy ignored.
And now youdevolve into personal attacks when you know nothing about me. Good job being toxic. You deserve zero respect or time.
I feel bad for the people forced to tolerate half this thread that are getting super nitpicky about wording on marketing material like a marketing department isn’t gonna be dishonest to get you to buy their stuff.
Were we not all just assuming that companies lie to us to sell us more crap? Was that only me?
No, there’s not. A product was provided under false pretenses to incentivize specific behavior. The behavior was performed, the incentive was provided under the prescribed pretenses, then provided again to everyone else. Your argument fundamentally necessitates retrospective knowledge that the item in question will be provided again at a later date with a price tag attached. Knowledge the participants not only do not have, but are in essence assured is not even an option on the table.
It’s not a personal attack, it’s an observation based on the behavior you’ve repeatedly exhibited.
Sure. But by that definition, we’re all toxic. That said, I neither expected nor demanded your respect. I’m not entitled to it, just as you’re not entitled to mine and don’t deserve it. Respect is earned, and you’ve done nothing to earn mine. I’m glad we cleared that up.
It’s not a great mount, I have it and never used it. I see why they went with this mount though as the people they pander to these days will love how “fabulous” it is.
So…you’ve read the contract that was undoubtedly made during the creation of the promotion? It’s rarity was, like other recent items, likely tied to a contractual obligation.
On the promotion page for the charger, it states that it was available on the Taiwan shop - likely after the NA promotion ended.
You guys are likely complaining about something that has actually been happening since the promotion ended - other players still were able to obtain it.
It says for a “limited time only”, which means you need to sign up for the offer during the time frame to get it. Plain and simple. There is nothing saying it will never be offered again.
Plenty of things are “limited time” and come back again. Every single discount on an item. The McRib. Planet Fitness runs multiple “limited time” offers for memberships. The specific offer is the only thing being limited by time. Another separate offer is always in the works.
The people that are upset about it want to believe that “limited time only” means never again, but it never happens like that unless it specifically says so.
Yes. There is. Using that mount for a decade is point to participating. I enjoyed it for those 10 years. That’s why I participated. I’ll still enjoy it. I got it longer.
Wrong again.
It’s absolutely a personal attack. Grow up.
Wrong. Respect is given freely to everyone until it’s lost. Trust is earned. This is what’s wrong with people like you. Good riddance.
Not to mention that seeing as how I played for all the months I was subbed and was going to play them anyway, I got the mount without needing to shell out an extra $25 for it.
and I got Diablo 3 without needing to shell out an extra $60.
The Feldrake was in a pack released over 10 years ago, and the Dragon kite was a pack released in 2007. The Diablo III Annual Pass was from 2011. So these all have hit a 10 year mark. I was just talking to my husband about that, and wondered if some legal aspect was lifted to allow them “rerelease” these.
