SO when are we going to get a resolution for this? Is there no option to block chat channel invites, which is what they use now? Got berated and thread locked earlier for this for “language” which was mild at worst. We need a OFFICIAL response on this from Blizzard and not forum peeps or moderators who have ZERO power to do anything. Getting really tired of the interruptions from these chumps while playing.

It is annoying I can imagine. I feel your frustration. Just do your best to report and move on.
It was suggested to whisper them and ask what the channel is for. Get them ton respond then you can right click report them.
Edit to say that this is also a player help player forum. The answers we give are answers we have learned over time. In this instance it has been a common topic here since it started. If we are incorrect, anotjer player will correct us, or an SFA(blue text) or reaffirm the correct answer.
However, even mild misuse of language is not permitted on the forums and this is most likely why it got locked.
There was a reply in the thread that was locked. There was no reason to repost a locked thread.
You would need to post in General Discussion or Classic General Discussion. The Devs don’t take feedback or suggestions from the Customer Support forum and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them.

Re-posting a locked or moderated topic is not going to end well. You were given the correct answer by the only Blizzard representation you are going to get on the forums. You were told that they are aware of the issue and looking into it. That is all the information that you will get at this time.
The moderators on here are Blizzard employees and have the correct information. They have told you what is being done. Going after them isn’t going to end well for you.

And yet, it was still inappropriate and worthy of a penalty. You were given a reprieve, I’m sorry that you do not value it.
You’ve received what official response we can provide, Angwii. I’m afraid there is no more we’d be able to provide. To restate, we’re aware of the behavior and our Devs are looking into means of combating it.
Understand, as much as we’d like to there is no means of simply snapping our fingers for it to go away. Any resolution will take time. Sorry for what inconvenience this may cause you.
I should note for future reference, your fellow players have just as much right to post in a thread as you do, as long as they are abiding by the Code of Conduct. If you do not value their contribution that is entirely up to you and you can skip it, but you don’t get to determine who may respond.
