If theyâre not willing to do that now(after almost 2 decades of WoW and RMT/butting) why do you think they suddenly will in phase 2?
Dissapointed in this. This brought me and my friends together and allowed a way for us to make gold to combat the bots. Since Blizz refused to do anything about the bots, they are just created a higher demand for the bot gold and will bring a token in due time, mark my words.
Everyone saying âhaha gtfoâ Me and my crew do not purchase gold and it made for an exciting time because everyone earned something for showing up even if they are fully geared. I have played since 2004, fought for classic, fought for hardcore, hyped for SoD.
I really hope this is reversed. This doesnât stop anyone from creating a guild or joining a GDKP run, gold is easy enough to accumulate and start playing.
If bots arenât stopped, this will be a nuclear mistake. Iâm seeing red, might come back and fix this post but I needed to join in and share my thoughts.

Youâre not some high roller big shot with money because you pay $30 a month lmao.
Look itâs season of discovery. They are testing things out. Go play retail. Go play lich king. Go play classic Era if you like GDKP. Christ itâs not the end of the world, if it ends up being bad it may be allowed for phase 3. Or maybe the community will like it better.
Personally I know alot of people who quit WOTLK BECAUSE of GDKP. Guilds were only recruiting for GDKP runs. There was no pugs, there was nothing until very recent in the ICC patch. So it goes both ways if you donât like it cancel your subscription. Weâll be able to tell who is in the minority depending on if its allowed for phase 3 or not.

Buying gold in retail is a bit different, buying a token isnt against ToS. Neither is buying a boost for gold. GDPKs have, historically, been a driver of gold buying, that and buying consumes so they let you into the GDKP lol.

Make an alliance toon go to stormwind and watch the bots do the same exact pathing to enter stockades, leave in the same pathing, and repeat.
I did this today and saw at least 50 bots in like 20 minutes.
If you think they are doing enough to battle bots you arenât paying attention. And this wonât change that at all

My point is that people still buy gold from 3rd parties even though there is a token and GDKPs arenât prevalent.
There will NEVER be a time where botting will not be a thing. People need to accept that it is going to be there and all Blizzard can do is take the reports people submit an action when they verify botting is taking place.
I think its an amazing Idea.

Matchmaking system is a good step in the right direction for bgs⌠just need to remove the hidden 20% dmg reduction and maybe Iâll enjoy classic battlegrounds again

Absolutely, blizz just cannot compete with the cheaper prices from a 3rd party, nor do they take actions against (enough) accounts that buy it from them, youâd be silly to pay the full prices for a token.
I raid on 6 toons⌠lol. That means I would have toons in 2-3 different guilds if I wanted to raid with a guild. Stop telling me how to spend my $15 a month and let me GDKP on my alts.

Yep you guessed it. Want in a guild? Are you a ultra geared person? Nope, weâre only recruiting for GDKP carries. Pugs? Nope only GDKPâs. We tried and then about 5 of us stopped playing. Did 10 people start playing because of GDKPâs while 5 of my friends stopped? Maybe. Who knows. Definitely not you.
If itâs not successful or servers are empty then phase 3 they will probably allow it again.
GDKP was the only thing keeping half of players still playing. Doesnât solve your bot problem now they will just make there gold on ah and still buy runs instead of items.
