Over 100+ new items (according to the gnomergan raid info slide) and only 6 bosses, are bosses going to drop more loot? One pain point of BFD was really large loot tables…we had more bosses and less items in there and many groups didn’t see certain items at all.

Let s try something new: WAR still OP, priest will still be miles ahead other healers with new rune, botting and RMT are definitely gonna be a thing because they fired all GMs, specially with epic craft requiring economy. And btw, boosting and buying runs for items in WC and SFK are definitely NOT breaking nostalgia and definitely NOT a source for RMT, but GDKP is…
Only consolation price would be that I hope they are not showing druid runes because they realized how busted Starsurge is…
GDKP’s only hurts sod and weakens it just like bots. Earn the gear like everyone else.

There is actually a GDKP community. People are active on Discord, making friends through those organised PUGs.
So what is the alternative loot system?
Group loot / Roll is bad, we can’t do DKP, ML in PUG. The only sensible one left is Soft-res, which is kind of like rolling with extra steps.
GDKP gives winners gear, and losers gold, it’s the best for PUG.
In short, there will be less PUG

I want to feel like im an adventurer playing with others again. Gdkp meta makes everyone feel like a coin purse not an adventurer.

gdkps are a great way to make money and they motivate geared players to continue to go to runs. Soft reserve pugs are generally under geared players where loot competition is high. In gdkps you get money to fund the funnest thing in the game, raiding, while doing the funnest thing in the game, which is raiding. And it rewards people who raid multiple resets a week, because they have more buying power than people who are running one run a week.

brother prices will always naturally inflate because their is no deflationary mechanisms in the game except what boons, mounts, and a repair bill. if you’re hurting over strange dust go level an alt to level 8 or 5 whatever it is, get enchanting and send your boes to that character to d/e, or get some prebis and farm some zg/ony/mc gdkps. you’re gonna have to start at the bottom if you just started ofc, but with professions anyone can catch up relatively easily.
Excited about melee hunter not being a meme anymore, but please for the love of god don’t spend the next 3 weeks after phase drops hitting us over the head again

It’s basically saying if you like GDKP you can get out.
I agree GDKP would be a good system, giving the people who dont walk out with loot a little something, if it didnt intrinsically support gold buying. If blizz would crack down on bots and gold buying then everyone should be free to do GDKP.
