I’ve had so many phasing issues with quests - also trying to get loremaster lol. My most recent has been stuck on “a falling star” for about a week now. Every ticket response completely ignores previous responses and says “check wowhead” or they are unironically copy and paste comments from wowhead
the few times i’ve been able to get through the chat gpt type responses it’s all “sorry we can’t do that, i’ve reached out to my superior and if we force complete quests like we used to it’ll bug a quest further down the line”
I remember when my order hall got bugged on my rogue, they didn’t care they just completed the quest I was stuck on with no worries - they still told me to submit a bug report, but it’s wild that I’ve been unable to hand in a quest because of a bug that’s been known since June 2024

They have never closed a ticket on me. I have always closed them. You always have to mark them as Resolved.

They never solve anything. Out of the 5 or 7 tickets I opened throughout, they didn’t solve a single one.

The CS that is left does not have the ability to resolve anything outside a copy paste. That is not the individual reps’ fault. It is a sure sign of a company that sets their employees up to fail and take the brunt of the customer dissatisfaction. The canned auto-response procedure behavior is a last stage before a company turns to complete response automation.
You can bet that the reps have been told to dump customers that cannot be helped by “copy/paste” to the bug forum and then to mark those tickets as “resolved”. This inflates the resolution rate, lowers the cost of support contacts through velocity (lowered training/salary/seats), and makes a great argument for outsourcing and full automation.
Unfortunately, this model does not factor in customer satisfaction. Decisions are based purely on attrition numbers. How much a customer will stand before they quit, rather than how they can be retained.

Hmm, very sensible point. GMs are essentially the punching bags for Blizzard, which makes sense since that’s how CS typically is anywhere.
Although it’s a shame that it’s status quo for a billion dollar company that can do a lot better.
Didn’t I hear somewhere that GMs were replaced with AI that basically just gives links out?

I’ve had to open to many tickets over items, quests, achievements, and NPCs and they just say use wowhead.
They have less than 0 interest in helping anymore. And I’m 100% on board with replacing them. GMs just don’t seem to have English comprehension, or knowledge about the game anymore. Little bit disheartening.
If they don’t want AI to take their job, then they shouldn’t provide less use than an AI.

Try completing battle for Lordaeron BFA I think and try completing the dark ranger red eyes unlock: go back to Tirisfall and see if that’s allows use of zidormi to travel to the real original tirisfall and undercity. Hope that solution works it’s a shot in the dark but the thought had occurred to me when trying to hit that orb to silver moon one time and I noticed what you are taking about : haven’t had reason to try , give it a shot. Zone is outdated both Tirisfalls so phasing is probably a few moving parts to get zidormi to do what you need. Also try asking chrome in your faction capital city. Good luck.

the only thing not warbound from old content is rep. quest says complete by warband.
i would know…ive been running classic old content for 44 alts

caught a virus trying to sneak in from one of their ads.

you have to click on the ads to get the virus…just like religious sites are the worst for viruses and not c*rn sites. because more ppl go to a religious site and make big donations there were the other sites have a small number of paid subs.
Also…you should get a good virus scanner…MS defender doesnt cover everything.
AI boldly lies in the exact same way the outsourced GMs do to players.
Honesly the support couldn’t get much worse.

It would be interesting to see a statistic how many GMs have an active WoW subscription, and in that case, to see if they have AOTC, KSM, Loremaster, …
It feels today many WoW players know more about WoW than the remaining GMs.
In such cases, I simply continue the conversation in the same ticket. Based on my observations, the same GM never responds to the same ticket.
The second person always understands the issue and provides a solution if possible.
