I mean, I’ve been right click report > cheating on multiboxers that obviously are pressing one button for more than 2 characters (I’m sorry, but there’s no way for you to instantly cast the same spell on 4 characters back to back to back without some sort of input software, even if it’s hardware running on said software), and my mailbox on an alt is filled with “Thank you for your report, your report resulted in actions taken against a player. Unfortunately we cannot give you specifics, blah blah blah”

It’s not good to spread misinformation.
All hardware solutions that I am aware of do not broadcast keystrokes to multiple WoW clients. (which the GM implies you are asking about).
That would be more inline with hardware generated macros.
I feel like you were desperately trying to get a “gotcha” and failed miserably.

I still multibox as I always have. One leads and solos content, the others follow. So not all multiboxing has been stopped.

How does anyone use actual hardware to get the similar result of input broadcasting software with multiboxing?
My guess is that they are just asserting that they use hardware to get around tos when they still use the software.

That’s chill, and I can understand your frustration… but don’t you think someone who puts in the time and effort to rig up and play 5 toons deserves the reap some rewards for it? Like if all they did was farm and nothing else I could understand getting mad but most of them seem to do everything from dungeons to pvp to even raids. That is some seriously hard content to box and worthy of respect, imo.
