Yeah I had a hunch it might be all the characters I have deleted over 13years I love leveling and some personal reasons why I delete so many. If i had a guess there is like 25-100 toons deleted lol.
25-100 I think our system would be fine with. I’m looking at over 400.

…Yeah… Aheh. Not meaning to laugh, but… At least now I don’t feel so bad about my character deletion counts eh Vrak? I honestly thought “I” was pushing it at 15-20. That said Karra, your in good hands. Vrak and CS will take care of you, and I’m sure the issue will be resolved as quick as it can Karra. I know it’s stressful. But it’ll work out. Will be rooting for ya though!

Yeah I didn’t think it would be that high I have personal issues that let me have alot of free time so over 13years I guess all the toons add up lol

Hey. It happens. If I could post a link though, I would probably link the sound effect for “Kabuki “Yoooo” number#2” on Youtube, because that was the sound my soul made when I heard 400. But hey, at least it’s not ‘over 9000’ yeah?

I don’t know if that is possible. The system is designed to purge deleted character under level 50 when they have been deleted for a time. I don’t know if there is a way to manually do that.
You seem to use a lot of the same names too, so it might be tricky in grabbing the right ones but we’ll have to see what happens with the ticket.
You use special characters here and there, so having a list of which characters you want, with the correct spelling of the name, level, race, etc… would probably be helpful, but I think we may need to wait to see what the recommendation is from the team.

I can name all the ones I want back but I can only get back 1 currently they said while I wait for them to contact me further.
Well… that’s going to be the devil in the details, I think Karra. See we’re only allowed one restoration per 24 hour period (and thank goodness for that as it used to be a week I believe), unless I am misremembering. So because of that, if you want specific characters; you’ll likely have to do restores over the course of a week or likely more; given the number of characters you have.
I’ve been there too, so I get it. It can be annoying and frustrating but that’s just how it goes.
I think it was 30days when it first came out only last few years it went down to a week lol.
Something like that. It’s been 20 years of WoW, so I will accept that I may be pickling with a small amount of forgetfulness. I can only guess that my storage bin is getting a bit full and I may need to head back to the Awakening Machine soon.
Wow. I have deleted almost 150 over the years, but 400 is a lot! And most of mine were deleted below level 10 so are long gone from the servers. I recently made a spreadsheet of them, using data recovered from all the old versions of WoW folders I found lurking on various hard drives. So I get being an altoholic. Good luck getting everything restored.

Yeah. I feel relieved to drop the proverbial crown of “Most Alts” and “Most deleted characters in the Character Restore bin.” to someone else. Now at least, I don’t feel quite like I’m a walking talking Earthen Enema. I hope it works out for ya Karra, and that the issue gets resolved very soon! 
Yes it is, I can see that if you server hopped a lot, making new characters to check out the server and when you transfer to give a name change when you still could do that.
So a gm said it was performance problem causing the crash did everything they said to do and it is still broken . Sadly if for whatever reason they can’t fix my account I will be hanging up my wow days I can’t play if know if I can’t restore characters. Hoping they will get back to me with good news.

Most likely final update sadly they can only restore 1 of my characters and now I just have to hope they fix it who knows when could be next week could be 5 years. As much as I want to keep playing losing 13years of my characters just isn’t worth it anymore.
Perhaps given the circumstances the GMs can use the undelete feature for you, if you specified a single character you really wanted back? I’m just throwing out ideas to try and help, but were I in your shoes; I would find a single character/class that appeals to you, and play it right now. That way you can enjoy all the cool stuff happening at the moment with War Within and the 20th Anniversary.
I’m in a similar strait with my Shaman, and while it does admittedly suck not being able to play them, trust in the Devs and trust that it will get resolved. It will. May take some time but it’ll sort out.
Have you tried using a different PC, asking the GMs to email them the screenshot, using a phone to upload?
Karrá’s already been addressed and her issue is being investigated by a specialist.
