There’s allready people asking for worgen humans and draenei on the horde, infact people asking for red draenei on the horde and Nathanos’s model for forsaken have been happening for years.
The Majority of people are very much happy about the new void elf changes, me included.
But incase you hadn’t noticed, forums are here for discusing the game, leaving feed back and posting ideas… which is exactly what people are doing. dosen’t mean they expect it, or that it will happen.
Why are you so upset about people being happy and entusiastic about the void elf customisations?
I was wondering about that these days and the number of thalassian elfs on both factions may be closer than most think. Follow my logic:
90% of the high elfs got wiped out so we have 10% as the remaining.
1% remained high elf and 9% went blood elf
From those 9% approximately 15% left with kael for his quest to find a new power source for them and we can assume that most of them perished between the skirmishes with the scourge, (daily reminder that tyrande and the night elfs saved their asses), illidan’s plans and the assault on icecrown to attemp to destroy the frozen throne.
So we are left with aproximatedly 7,33 % of the original high elf population as blood elfs. Sadly here is where numerical comparisons stop but we can go a bit further based on known facts.
Then came TBC where many more whose numbers we cannot be sure went to outland to help Kael after he brough the fel siphoning technics and many also perished at his service for Kil’jaeden or at Illidan’s service defending the Black Temple.
Then came Wrath of the Lich king and Cataclysm where they lost even more in service to the horde and on Pandaria when they would further lose more to Garrosh’s wreckless use of their people to find artifacts and in the Divine Bell/Isle of Thunder Saga.
Draenor and Legion same as before, just the usual casualties in service of the horde.
On Bfa they actualy lost some who turned into void elfs and debanded to the alliance side plus the blood elf scholars that we see in telogrus that probably also left the horde.
What im saying is other than that elves numbers must be pretty low by now is that with ammount of losses that they took over the years even though they have more than high elfs and void elfs combined, its not by as much as many probably assume.
It’s pretty unanimous that people Are infact very happy.
That dosen’t mean some people arn’t going to ask for more, just like horde are constantly making threads asking for stuff.
Because like I said. I put 695 days /played on this toon. The more that gets added to Alliance, the more I feel that I’m losing my immersion to the game. My faction identity. You’re stepping on other players enjoyment aswell, but all most pro-HE can think of is themselves.
Because a power hungry arrogant tyrant thinks so it must be true, she also said bloodelves are a disgrace and not worthy of their liniage, so guess that must be true too?
I also don’t mind helfs asking for more, but a lot of it does seem to be at the expense of the two already established EK elf races. And that’s not really fair to their fans.
Im quite happy with the adition of the new customizations (even though i would like a questline to explain it like the integration of the silver covenant to them or a new perfected void ritual that allows them to have a better control)
To me current thalassian elfs in the alliance will look just like Gilneans. There will be non corrupted high elfs equivalent to the non cursed gilneans and the void tainted ones who will be just like the cursed worgen.
