I want both High elves and Wildhammers added for the Alliance, but at this point though I dont want them to spend an allied race slot on them and considering the customization being added already it is not even needed. All we need is a way to just customize the racial(and hell maybe customize the nameplates so it reads Wildhammer/High elf).
For high elves, the racial change would be simple, change all the racial to have arcane in them but do exactly the same thing. Spatial Rift becomes Arcane Rift and Entropic Enbrace becomes Arcane Embrace. With a coresponding purple change to it.
For dwarves, instead of Stoneform, give them Stormhammer which stun one target for x number of second. And instead of Explorer, maybe give them “Trusty Mount”, basically a free whistle they can use at any level that transports them to the nearest flight master.
Or just throw some purple highlight on the skin models and call it tattoos so they can stay void elves. Simple fix without having to change void elves fundamentally.
No, no, and no. No one else gets to pick and choose and customize their racial and you will not be the exception. They gave you the inch they didn’t need to and here you are asking for the mile.
If you don’t like a void based racial then the other group of high elves are waiting for you on the horde.
Legit, at this point Blizzard should just make both sides neutral and remove the whole void elves can’t go near sunwell bit. Allow Blood Elves all void customization, mount, heritage armor and same for Alliance. They get BE heritage armor but blue, etc.
I dunno, that might stop requests for awhile? Next it will be to remove Blood elves because it’s ruining their immersion and RP with Horde having High Elf lookalikes.
Blizzard did not give you High Elves. They added human skin colour customiztions to Void Elves but the race is still Void Elves, not High Elves, and do not even have the options of fair hair.
I am quite in favor of all the changes being made to the void elves/blood elves. You can find that in my many many other posts. That doesn’t mean Blizzard cannot improve on it.
they are not even arcane based anymore and thanks to the Sunwell more holy magic based. And being arcane has never been what a high elf is about, being a high elves means being against the Horde!
Because I dont want an allied race slot be wasted on then when we already have 90% of what makes a Wildhammer/high elf already on the Alliance come SL.
Changing racials, which Blizzard has done before in the past, is a small change to a drastic change they are already making to the two races.
This is just sad. We’ve been wanting high elves for years on the forums, then we get them and people still aren’t satisfied and are asking for more
