Actually High Elves are on BOTH sides of the faction lines like Pandaren, they “mostly” defected from the Alliance after the 3rd war, so now roughly 80% of High Elves are Horde or unaffiliated neutral. Players often overblow how many High Elves are still even on the Alliance side, the ones we see in Dalaran/Silver covenant are it…and the numbers basically state Highelves are like 5% of the remaining Blood Elf population and about 20% of that 5% is on Alliance side… so non-Blood Elf High Elves Alliance side are like 1% of the remaining High Elf race…

Nope! It’s just giving a high-elf option to the Alliance, since Alliance-aligned High Elves have been in the lore since at least BC, if not before. It’s not really the Alliance’s fault that High Elves have continued to support them.

Race numbers have not typically mattered in deciding whether or not a race gets implemented. After all, the Void Elves were originally a small sect of exiled blood elves. They were more a special-ops team than a race onto itself. Actually, based on the “not enough numbers to justify a race”, it makes more sense to give High-Elf options to the Alliance, because the Void Elves on there own weren’t enough. Therefore, though Void Elf and High Elf numbers may be small, together they might be enough to justify a “race”, whereas one by itself wouldn’t.
However, again… The population count hasn’t been a deciding factor in if a race merits becoming playable, per Void Elves in the first place.

I’d be very happy with some Human/Kul Tiran hairstyle cross-pollination as well as the Kul Tiran hair textures being shared with Void Elves. That would provide the diversity I seek for Void Elves while not copying things from Blood Elves.
Kul Tiran hair textures are virtually identical to Void Elf hair textures already, and it has been shown that they look flawless on the Void Elf hair models:

I say we make every race look just like every other race because why not. No one will ever be happy with their choice.
And BE hair styles. Just copy and paste the whole race, don’t half-butt* it.

If Blizzard had made High elves from the start, they would not have to recolor blood elves back to what they were.
Void belves were a waste of time and resources, since people want them to look more and more like the model that we were told we can’t have in the alliance so as not to blur the lines between the factions and because the horde already had this model in your faction.
And all of that is being undone now. /slowclap
we’ll have purple blood elves pretending to be blood elves.

horde have more then just the model. they have the high elf kingdom which includes silvermoon, the sunwell, and actual high elf armies like the legendary farstriders(rangers), powerful magic users with the magisters, and followers of the light with blood knights(paladins). the alliance have a couple mages and a fanfiction of neutral dalaran elves

I would honestly settle with them fixing the Male receding hairline and give us Belf hair styles, but god forbid they do that Belves will riot.
Tentacles wouldn’t be bad if they weren’t so expert at clipping.
I’d at least like a pure black and pure white option. Pretty much every race should have those 2 colors.
