I am gonna guess the other thread got boring so everyone needed a dose of drama.
Sad. It was actually chill here for a bit.

Well all right then Vereesa’s Normal Hair or well White Hair Option. Interesting.
Not everyone is going to share the same views as you.
Still pretty chill here. A few have expressed their disagreement with some of the opinions shared but hey, thats how public forums work where more than one view on a thing can exist.
Stark White and Void Black would be wonderful additions to Void Elves. Fits their theme while still being useful to the High Elf fans. Few would stand in opposition to that.
But you seem to agree with Somand on someone who thinks denying the Blood Elves anything is gross.
Lann and Somand were talking about people denying the Farstrider Tattoos from Blood Elves as gross.
It makes lore sense for those tattoos to be available for both blood and void elves. So both of them (and myself) having issues with them being specifically relegated to Void Elves is expected.
If it were to come down to it, and Blizzard was only going to give Farstrider tattoos to one, Blood or Void, my hope is that they’d give them to the group that actually has the organization, the Blood Elves.
Though, personally, my ideal would be that both Void and Blood Elves got farstrider Tattoos differentiated by color. Void getting blues, purples, black and white. Blood getting reds, yellows, oranges, black and white. (maybe a fel green too).
Nonetheless, others having differing opinions and expressing them on a public forum is hardly drumming up drama.
Personally I think just having Fasrstrider tattoos is a flawed concept to begin with and both runic and Light tattoos should come as part of the package. Farstrider tattoos are worn by Farstriders, but blood knights and magisters are just as central to blood elves.
I don’t want what happened to dwarves where suddenly Bronzebeard dwarves went extinct after the introduction of Wildhammer tattoos to happen to blood elves.
Oh I expect that there will be other options along with it.
Blood Elves would have Farstrider, Arcane(magister) and Light based tattoos.
Void Elves would have Farstrider, Arcane(they have magisters too) and Void based tattoos.
Also ear piercings because I don’t know how that’s not a thing.
Sure. Though we were just talking about tattoos right at this moment.
Honestly I think all jewelry should go to both male and female and be something ALL races have some options for. Within each races themeing of course.
While we’re on the subject of piercings one thing I think would be super cool for paladins and priests would be piercings fashioned from little bits of M’uru.
Would… would there be -enough- of him left for widespread use of his bits?
No idea. But there’d certainly be enough for not widespread use. Either bits taken before he became the Sunwell or bits scooped out with a pool scoop.
Given the proliferation of Ashbringers and high elves throughout Orgrimmar I don’t think customisation needs to reflect larger demographic trends.
Eh, fair point.
Who’d have guessed? It wasn’t the Scourge that wiped out the blood elves, it was Horde high elves.
Can I get an f?
I would be ok with this if they would give the Nightborn a little bit more love.
Right? How did void elves get all this stuff and Nightborne got nothing?
Can I get an f in the chat for Nightborne?
Ultimately for the tattoos and all that will come down to colours. Probably/most likely hot colours for the horde. Cold for the Alliance.
Velves just inherited belf stuff. NB can’t inherit nelf stuff, not just due style but due how modified their bodies are.
Advantages of being a lazy recolour.
I get why it happened from a technical point of view, but from a faction balance perspective of ‘one for you, one for me’, giving an extra race customisation for one faction strikes me as grossly unfair.
Considering that Orcs and Belves were the only ones who got extra customization starting BFA AND that orcs still have 20x options than any other race. The unfairness argument doesn’t hold.
As did night elves.
If we’re saying an entire race missed out on multiple options because orcs got an upright pose (which has a whole discussion around why it was added) that’s still incredibly unfair.
