Give Blood Elves tattoo options!

Hookahs and throw pillows everywhere pretty much confirms that.

Except Farstriders don’t have tattoos…

That’s not the point, the point is her appearance was intentionally designed to reflect her life as a Farstrider, hence why her bow literally says as much in it’s description.

Except she was a Farstrider, and has tattoos… and we can clearly see she wasn’t the only Ranger to have them in old Warcraft titles either. Have we seen any High elves with tattoos besides the one that just popped out of the time portal? The fact that her bow literally says she was a Farstrider makes her design choice pretty obvious.

The bigger question would be, why would Alliance High elves who’ve given up traditional elven themes suddenly have tattoos?

Who does she resemble closer, the Alliance High elves, or the Blood elf Farstriders? Answer carefully.

The dome topped buildings and minaret-esque towers too, and the curtains. I want to say even the beds.

Not sure if those are the correct terms in the first sentence so forgive my lack of knowledge around architecture vocabulary.

Doesn’t even have to be the tattoo she has. Because honestly in my opinion it’s so lame and basic. We are just asking for tattoo options like other races that have them. Idk why people are so against it.

Waiting on them void elf tats.

And?

That was when Warcraft Elves where based off of Tribal Celtic people where the Elf Legends originated.

They where soft retconned in WC2 to be more Arabic/Roman inspired.

They only exist as an Alleria thing now.

And it’s just weird to be trying so hard to make Blood Elves look like the Void Elf leader lol

Especially when you have Blood Elf characters and depictions to draw inspiration from.

Rommath’s Runic Arm Sleeves and the TBC box art are something that would absolutely work.

Looking at pictures and yeah, you’re right. Even the gateways look somewhat arabic.

There are terms but I don’t know them lol

Ok. But right now, it’d be giving an Alliance thing to the Horde. You can’t find her aesthetic anywhere else in the game. This aesthetic is exclusive to her character. It’d be like giving Thalyssra’s appearance to the Night Elves, when not even the Nightborne can look like her.

But didn’t they just give blood elf stuff to an alliance race?

They gave High Elf stuff to us. High Elves have been in the Alliance since vanilla(In WoW).

But you guys get to look like our racial leaders. But we can’t look like yours?

Because they fear that Blood elves will look too much like “traditional High elves” despite the fact that they already do look and act more like traditional High elves than any other group of elves in the game.

The fact that her bow even says she’s a Farstrider tells us exactly why she was designed the way she is. It’s sad that they not only want to look like Blood elves, but now want to claim ownership of their themes as well? Tsk.

Because she was designed to look like a Farstrider, hence why they literally put it in the description of her bow.

No Blood elf looks like Valeera either, but thats simply because their models are more up-to-date. Lor’themar’s gear look far more similar to Alleria’s than anything we ever see a high elf wearing, when previously he looked like a random Belf npcs. Alleria’s just the most recent Farstrider model in the game.

It’s not retconned simply because they were designed differently, unless something specifically says that Farstriders stopped getting tattoos this sounds more like headcanon, favorism than anything actually substantial or compelling.

Considering that the Void elf leader was designed after a Blood elf group…

Which would only work for mages, asking for Farstrider tattoos also works.

Point me to your blue-eyed thalassian racial leader? Go around anywhere in the Alliance and you’ll find High ELves. High Elves belong to the Alliance–they’re an Alliance theme.

So only people with blue eyes can have tattoos?

No? Where did I say that? Lmao. Just give their tattoos a different aesthetic. It’s pretty simple, and it could complement the Sin’dorei theme way more than Alleria’s tattoos ever could.

I would also would love it if Void Elves could also have Tattoos as well. Since Alleria is a Void Elf with Tattoos of course.

Show me a Farstrider on the alliance.

Like I said I don’t want her tattoos. I just want tattoos in general, but every time a horde players ask for them we get told nope. Only alliance helves had tattoos.

I can point you to someone that shares the exact same aesthetic as them? The same aesthetic that’s currently exclusive to the Alliance, and not even us Alliance players can recreate?

Every race should have tattoos or war paint. Honestly if it wasn’t for this topic mainly being for belves I don’t think we would have this many people against it.

Except again, her apperance is a Farstrider theme, which does not exist within the Alliance. Why would any non-Farstrider Alliance High elf ever have Farstrider Tattoos over the actual farstriders? Like what?

You can look just like our race, but we can’t have our own themes because an NPC exists on your faction? Whaaaat.
