I wanna see options similar to Alleria’s tattoos but in different colors. Golds, reds, and greens would fit the Blood Elves better than Alleria’s blue.
Tattoos like the ones that run down Rommath’s arms would also be cool options.
Edit: as Vandraeda said, Phoenix themed tattoos like that of Farstrider Hanzo’s would be great options, and would fit well for the Sin’dorei.
And of course there is the awesome runic tattoos that are around the eye of the Blood Elf in the TBC box art. This would be an amazing option for sure!
So can we please get options like this? I personally think tattoos would be way cooler than the bracelet and body jewelry options that had already been shown off.
I also think all races should get some type of tattoo options, but i just wanted to talk about Blood Elves for now since they’re one of my favorite races, and they have a lot of good examples of what their tattoo options could look like.

Demon Hunters don’t count. That’s Class specific tattoo options, i wanna see race specific tattoo options.
Just give tattoo options to both of them, i don’t care. They’re already gonna be sharing skin tones and eye colors soon anyway.

Void Elves should get Alleria-style tattoos first. Blood Elf arcane tattoos aren’t super iconic.

I remember seeing that iconic Blood Elf face from Burning Crusade while I was in Fry’s Electronic’s and I had just seen the WoW Southpark episode the night before.
It was so cool that I just could not walk by it without picking it up and looking closer, and here we are.
I always wondered why I didn’t have a tattoo’d face option when I made my initial male belf, never enough to let it bother me, but if I had seen a regular male blood elf cutie pie face on the box cover that fateful day, I may have just kept walking.

Yeah, if Night Elves are finally getting the iconic leaves-in-hair from the original box art of World of Warcraft as options, then Blood Elves should get their iconic eye rune tattoos from the Burning Crusade box art.
I also think they should add piercing options for male Orcs as well as jewelry options for male and female Worgen. Male Orcs are frequently portrayed as having piercings similar to what female Orcs get (especially nose rings), yet piercings are absent from male Orc customization. Saurfang himself got a nose ring with his model update.
Similarly, Genn Greymane is sometimes portrayed with piercings on his ears and rings on his teeth.
I absolutely want the eye tattoo from the Burning Crusade box art as a customization option for Blood Elves.
