Getting load lib error on some fights

I get an Windows error tied to WoW called:
load lib error

After hitting okay and getting back to the game, most textures are now green and doing a /reload fails to load all addons.

Might be better off posting in Tech Support. Sounds like it might be drivers or something.

I’d start with the usual:

  • DDU uninstall your video drivers and perform a fresh install.
  • Run an SFC scan.
  • etc.

I highly doubt its an addon issue given the texture problems. RAM, drivers, or something hardware related sounds much more likely.

As has been mentioned, the Windows error stuff is more suited for the tech support forum.

The stuff with the addons not loading properly after the /reload probably has to do with being in combat when reloading. It’s been my experience that many addons don’t always load/reload gracefully when in combat — and remember that the default UI is just basically Blizzard made addons. (Returning from a disconnect while in combat can also cause issues with them.) If you reload once out of combat, do they work?

Seems to only happens on WoW specifically.

== FOUND THE ISSUE ===

The issue is related to TTS.

If you have a custom Text to Speech voice that you removed from Windows and ANY addon try to speak with that voice, that error will popup.
