Get an Eye on an Even Dozen New Hero Talent Trees

Thanks blizz for yet another disappointing addition to survival
Stop making everything about the bombs, thats the issue. Our mastery is useless because everything is about bombs. Redesign the mastery, stop forcing us into the BM pet hugging trees, stop forcing us into bombs, and let us do big damage with our two handed weapons. S1 We did big ST damage because of tier / mastery AND YOU NERFED IT when it got to the top 3 ST damage even though we had little aoe at all. Itā€™s not hard to understand. In raid, our bombs are constantly despawning if the target dies mid transit, our pets are mega janky in multiple situations for KC, more than half of our talent tree is literally useless in any situation, not to mention the only intern you have for hunters works on BM only. Thank you for another disappointing addition Blizz, canā€™t wait to be bottom dps in yet another expansion.

I problem with farseer is that it seems they just said screw it copy monk abilities and that they made the capstone just the same thing as the ability its replacing and summons one ā€œancestorā€. So it wont be fun to play and wont do anything and you compare it to like DK/Warrior talents that seem thought out play well with each other. It gives a sense of Favoritism towards certain classes and this seems to be a sense that people have been getting from the team with each set of talents released. I was really hoping that at least for Hero Talents it would help sure up gaps in rotations or being something ā€œfunā€ to the playstyle.

Presumably it will work like Avengerā€™s Shield (which will also not break CC).

or just fix coordinated assault so I dont have to turn on and off my pet attacks to get the most out of it, make a better survival CD cause CA feels bad to push.

Thinking more about the Shado-Pan Tree, I really like the ideas behind. I think there are a lot of synergies between the talents. I hope Vigilant watch applies to individual blackout kicks, so Teachings of the Monastery and Shadowboxing treads apply the damage increase. Damage could ramp up quite a bit in aoe with that. And it would be consistent with other BoK empowering effects.

Will Flurry Strike damage feed into itself at all to build more charges? Iā€™m assuming not but it would be cool to see it maybe do so at a reduced rate to allow for some ramp in our AoE.

How do the Wisdom of the Wall buffs work? Are the random? Sequential? If I have 20 stacks released, do I get 2 buffs? Regardless, there are some cool things going on with this tree without introducing any active abilities which is awesome.

Iā€™m excited to try out conduit of the celestials and also rider of the apocalypse. The wait to preview the talents was worth it.

Put out voidweaver pls. so I know whether Iā€™m deleting my shadow or not

Not to mention - For the beast route, you couldā€™ve literally just given us ā€œYou pets critical auto attacks grant a stack of mongoose bite and if mongoose stacks are full, grant a free castā€
Or idk, Your pet granting flanking strike resets, your pet empowering your defensives by covering you, a form of beast cleave / fury of the eagle reductions if you are so adamant in forcing us into bomb rotations.
Iā€™m just hoping sentinel is good at this point, seems like the hunter dev is off his rocker on these first two.

Pretty sure you guys gave us the Havoc tree, so I look forward to seeing the real vengeance inspired hero talents in the near future.

Not a bakerā€™s dozen?

Dont you get access to both regardless of spec?

As a Pandaren Monk that worked hard to get the Shado-Master title back in MoP and uses it more than any other title since then, I wish there were a little more ā€œShadoā€ in the Shado-Pan tree. Thereā€™s 1ā€¦ maybe 1 and one-fifth of a talent devoted to evasiveness. Iā€™m also not super keen on how passive the building and spending of flurry strikes seems to be, but overall itā€™s not bad. I already struggle to find room for every ability I want on my bars, I guess.

Conduit of the Celestials looks pretty great. It seems like it adds some Fistweaver flexibility to Winderwalkers and vice versa, which is great.

please PLEASE stop giving cooldown reduction to the elementals. they dont do enough on their own to warrant it

These trees genuinely look terrible. All they are is bloat. They dilute the damage profiles, make keystrokes floaty, and force players to install more WA trackers to do their rotations. Very few nodes actually interact with your keystrokes and core damage abilities.

Not looking forward to playing with these. Classes are already bloated as hell with passives in DF, before you bolt a dozen additional passive abilities onto them.

DH talents look underwhelming. The main reason we like our current tier-set is that it replaces the need to throw glaive already. Now youā€™re going to take that away and make throw glaive even more important to our rotation. This just seems boring and overlaps so many talents we already have.

If you want to add more class fantasy make it spawn a Flame of Azzinoth like Illidan does or something at least a little more interesting.

You and others seem to be thinking that being able to mount while in combat = keeping the mount in combat. I donā€™t think this is the same thing, but other than that Rider DKs are cool.

Spellslinger Mage is terrible for me as frost. FF Mage all the way.

Slayer seems nice and Bladestorm back for Fury? YEAH!

Conduit monks are fine, Shado-pan are meeeh.

Hellcaller Destro will be great.

Aldrachi DH and Flameweaver evoker are very meh.

DKs are eating well

Well, hereā€™s hoping the MW/BrM hero talents arenā€™t fistweaving heavy. Thereā€™s some benefit to caster/hybrid MW within the Conduit of the Celestials tree, but Iā€™m not impressed.

Now Farseer on the other hand has me excited. My Resto Shaman just took a step forward in the race to be my main next expansion.

You get 80% of your armor for 8 seconds after shifting into cat which can play into some crazy movement speed to makeup for lack of gap closers.

Not to mention when you shift back into bear you heal for a percentage of damage for 8 seconds after that.

All sorts of fun weaving to be had and kiting. If your m+ teammates are good you could get in, get aggro, slow then, shift to cat and kite then shift back in for the damage healing as you pick them back up.

Plus will be nice when farming to be able to be guardian and pop into cat for some extra deeps then when you switch back heal up.

Sounds kinda fun to me. I just wish one of the talents made our moonfire hit up to 5 targets or all targets finally

Until you show us what you plan on doing to alleviate the being rooted to our death and decay problem there can be no other feedback other than DO NOT ROOT ME IN MY DEATH AND DECAY PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF BOB.
