Get an Early Look at Hero Talents in The War Within

There are 11 nodes in a Hero Talent tree. The first of these unlocks with the system at level 71, and you earn 1 talent point per level from level 71 to 80, so you get every talent in the tree by level 80. Hero Talents will have starter builds available, and your saved builds will save your Hero Talent choices as well.

Just to be clear: You get the first node for free at level 71, on top of a talent point? …cause 10 talent points won’t be enough to unlock every node if there’s 11 nodes to unlock…

I think the classes and the game needs to be looked at from the perspective of a newcomer to WoW. Some of the classes/specs have gotten unnecessarily complicated, button bloat, some would say raiding and mythic requires necessary addons, etc. None of these things should be necessary to shove down a casual enjoyers throat. PVP queues are a problem as well and is not attracting new players.

Everyone is going to end up playing with a small subset of folks if they cant attract younger folks.

I have been playing since BC, mained Death Knight since day one WotLK.

Never in the entire history of WoW have I despised a mechanic more than “You must be standing in your DND”.

Please stop quadrupling down on this awful mechanic. You got rid of it for mages because you understood it does not work in modern WoW design.

Only 2 options for DH shared with both specs leaves no room for a 3rd spec. Everyone else gets 3 hero options. We should as well. I am sick of being 2/3 of a class paying a full sub. Give us 3 shared options or 1 shared and one unique to havoc and one unique to veng.

Hunter pet talent trees or the ability to switch pet to an of the 3 current specs, and also the ability for lone wolf MM hunters to choose pet spec bonus as action.

ALSO blizzard, where is my rexxar hunter fantasy, about time hunters get to transmog dual wield 1h weapons

Requiring druids to give up a capstone talent to access Force of Nature is an awful idea, as is asking them to give up full moon as a rotational spell in order to get access to Fury of Elune to have a working hero tree.

These hero trees should give the affected talent baseline.

This is made up. Addons? You don’t need any of it. Complicated? Some classes and some specs are but not all but to assume all classes and specs are is just false. Blizzard will find a way to improve the new player experience and plus dragonflight will be made default come next expansion but clearly you are living under a rock and not following up on all the news.

Can you guys stop making blood death knights use vampiric blood for damage? the Aberrus set was also like that and it was annoying, let defensives be defensives instead of making me use them on cooldown when I don’t need the survivability for dps gain

People will cry no matter what. Because they want everything to go their way and not think of the bigger picture and the consequences.

Why can’t Unholy Death Knights just summon the four horsemen of the apocalypse during combat? :open_mouth: Make all of them elite and one of them off tank poggerinos

To hell with the consequences let’s crank this thing up to 15/10 and get nuts! wooooooo

So many people saying random stuff that have zero relevance and want classes and or spec to be OP (overpower) and not think about the balancing or the design choices and just want everything to go nuts. It’s like the forums doesn’t care about game design or whatever.

Nice idea but some of the names for the hero build, I think spellslinger was one of them, sounds corny af lol

I like the idea of hero talents but it feels like it’ll just be azerite powers, covenant abilities.

The idea you are a mountain thane or san’layn is just role play gobbledygook to sell it to the role players out there. You don’t change form, the changes itself aren’t that big, I don’t know… feels like an idea that you felt you can pull off easily , sell it as a feature , and found a way to rope in the cosmetic chasing player base since that is your main focus it seems now.

You guys can’t even properly balance what exists, good luck adding this on top of your mess/

That’s it I’m removing a spec from Druid for that, goodbye Balance Druid… you were never balanced anyway won’t be missed!
