Genn just hands away the kingdom?

Arthas became king after his father mysteriously died to acute “sword in throat” syndrome. Suceeding you, father

Anduin became king after Gul’dan disenchanted Varian

Talanji became queen after Rastikan died to . . . uh . . . BFA was a while ago

And now Tess became queen after Genn abdicates.

These are monarchies.

Except the dark irons themselves, but those are just twilight cultist…

Cataclysm, if you played through the forsaken area in tirisfall you can see a worgens talking too human survivors from South shore, and a worgens about it.

The only Dark Irons who have an issue with it want to revive Ragnaros. They aren’t exactly sane in the head.

Here’s what I want to happen.

10.2.6: Genn gives Abdication speech ( In Game Cutscene), few hints about Anduin’s movements heading towards TWW and other people getting the ‘Visions’. Tess gets Coronation Ceremony (In Game Cut Scene), Bonus points if she makes a ‘Tear down this wall’ Reference.

10.2.7: More hints towards TWW, player character gets vision of their own (Void Elves get Knaifu visions), Tess and Shandris get updated models with new armor. In game Cutscene of Genn and Tess fighting side by side against strange new enemies (More hints towards TWW). In Game Cutscene of Jaina passing along where Anduin is to Thrall.

Better off without em.

Tho shame we never got to see those one cursed dwarves in grim batol.

Well Anduin is 100% out of the picture I’d assume and tbh kinda curious if there’s any Gilnean nobles still alive and kicking that aren’t well either quite old or Lorna Crowley…

Uh, watch any Blizzcon videos lately?

Or look at the key art for the next expansion?

Most of the human nobility is just kinda assumed to be there somewhere unnamed until the plot needs them for something.

I think they are referring to the fact that Anduin already rejected an Arranged marriage with Tess.

Oh, that. Yeah I don’t think they’re interested in each other, despite Genn’s efforts lol

Also obviously Anduin is being paired with Taelia, who is being groomed to inherit Kul Tiras.

Also there was already one of those in this patch - there’s a bit of dialogue between Genn and Matthias talking about seeing him in Kalimdor and, more interestingly, not telling Turalyon about it yet.

Tess is a very eligible bachelorette. Whoever marries her will be - at the very least - a royal consort, if not a co-regnant.

Anduin’s not quite out of the picture since he didn’t abdicate, but with Gilneans being so insular, I don’t think any non-Gilnean consort is gonna be popular with the people. Then there’s the whole Worgen thing.

She’s not even kul’tiran tho? Or related to any of the admirals…

:dracthyr_shrug: last we saw her, Jaina was giving her leadership lessons.

And I don’t think Jaina is really in the heir-producing business these days, so the implication was pretty clear to me that she decided to just pick one.

I don’t think we’ll see any Romance in TWW. I think we’ll see more of Anduin piecing himself back together. I think TWW will center on the younger generation of Leaders taking up their responsibilities. Anduin returning to his people after figuring himself out. Tess and Shandris coming into their own. Moira stepping aside for her son. Talanji finding her place as the leader of her people and maybe even helping Vol’jin be reborn as the new Loa of Kings.

I must of missed it I guess.

Yuh I also know that Anduin is a certain writers “Gentleman” and I suspect she likely wouldn’t be very fond of him being married off to Tess.

??? That’s not even remotely implied.

She has a brother…

Their interactions in SL pretty strongly implied it to me, but that’s just my take.

By our definition, perhaps, however the problem is it doesn’t state what kind. Tons don’t allow women to become leaders, which is why it not being concretely explained in game is a problem and you going “well duh it’s a monarchy” doesn’t really explain anything.

Genn was king, he put his daughter in charge. It doesn’t need to be spelled out.

You’re being obtuse for your own reasons that I won’t speculate on, but I don’t feel much need to explain further.
