I don’t RP but I did make a “sort of” backstory for my main character when I first started in vanilla. I imagined that my orc was born in the internment camps, grew up hearing stories of Draenor and the “old ways” (so deciding to become a shaman) and finally came of age in Durotar during the time of peace between TFT and WOW. So yeah assuming he was 18 then he would be in his mid 30’s now.
Worgen may age slower than regular humans. Back in Legion he was a man well into his 70s and he was climbing off cave walls and pouncing on Sylvanas in Stormheim.
If I have to guess his age the guy has to be late 70s-80s, most likely a man well into his 80s. Considering he was 40s? During the Second War, and 50s during the Third War/Fall of Lordaeron and 50s when the Worgen curse began to spread. All thru Cata-Present guy’s been moving along into his 60s-70s fighting in Legion/BFA and beyond. Man is spry for a senior.
When I think back to the Queen, the age argument is kinda weak. Genn fought against Fyrakk one patch ago. LOL. Must still be in good shape.
Abdication is an extreme abandonment of royal duty.
There was also no Coronation.
Years of Genn wanting revenge just thrown out the window, another wasted lore character.
It’s been forty years since the opening of the Dark Portal. TBC happened in year 26 ADP and Pandaria in year 30. SL was year 35 and took two years. Later expansions are considered to take two years, so we’re actually probably in year 42 since we’re at the end of the expansion.
Yes, cuz his girlboss daughter has to girlboss cuz she an independent woman who don’t need no man.
You are not familiar with getting older and wanting to retire? I am, retired just over a year ago. I highly recommend it.
I doubt my generation will ever retire, but here’s hoping! Enjoy your golden years!
It’s the latent misogyny for me lol
13 real life years, it’s been about the same length of time in game.
okay. that happens. they elect a woman. what’s the new forum complaint going to be?
Lemon scented!? No wonder you still have flea and tick problems!
Any hunter and Tauren know that rubbing some citrus juice or an essential oil from something like lemongrass on the fur deters fleas and ticks.
That shampoo is just a scam!
(Oh, and sorry for the late reply. Phones not allowed in meetings.)
Definitely that there’s a woman leader.
According to the incorrect meme details, this is true!
If still like to point out that is a choice they made and not them being killed lol
Peepaw is old and tired, and monarchy gonna monarchy.
Maybe this way he’ll get to enjoy being at home for a little while before the years catch up to him. Spend some time with what’s left of his family, and help guide Tess in her new role while he has the chance.
Seems reasonable enough to me.
This is awesome
It’s also helping set the stage for a longer narrative, using succession to ensure there’s some continuity. It’s happening with many of the races.
Get ready for the Genn funeral event next expansion. Right click to pay respects.
Is there a Wiki explaining how Monarchies in WoW work and if they’re the same for every region within?
