General Forums Already Pushing for Breaking Changes

I want to be able to queue for dungeons at the innkeeper or meeting stones, like what EXISTED in classic

#IGuessSomeChangesAreOKAsLongAsItsWhatTheNoChangesCrowdWants

Pretty sure that was a trolling/sarcastic post…seen others say similar things but it was more subtle and I took it seriously, then got told it was a joke…bleh

Classic being delivered as an authentic experience literally has -ZERO- bearing on whether it will ever receive changes.

That does not at all touch on whether or not there will ever be changes, nor is there any way to glean any sort of useful information about whether or not it will receive changes.

“Museum piece”
“Pandora’s Box”

That is all

I already linked you a video of Blizzard officials speaking about this that is SIGNIFICANTLY more recent than what you’re quoting.

Yes but NONE of it implies that ANY of it will be applied to Classic itself…matter of fact one of the streamers specifically suggested to them that they KEEP CLASSIC SEPARATE

Permadeath at 60. Be careful where you step endgamers…

You mean even MORE Diablo elements added to the game??

I never liked hardcore, so yeah no thx

What in the…

You heard it here folks, just because something doesn’t turn out the way you want it to, you better believe that every time it’ll end up the exact same way.

After all, it already happened once! I burnt some onions this morning, I’ll never cook onions again. After all, I already burnt them once!

Well, you’re playing on a PvE server. Convenience is obviously paramount to your MMORPG experience.

Not to sure what you mean by extreme.
I agree with you on retail it is not that bad. I have played a little on retail and have enjoyed it. Just as a lot of players have.
As for Classic not changing there is only one reason.
With the release of Classic, Blizzard has reduce the population of private servers. Yes there are Vanilla private servers Blizzard can not take to court. The less players on private servers the less money the private server makes. That will shut down some but not all.
That is why Classic will not change. It is also the reason we play the last patch on classic.
The same goes for TBC and LK.
I played on all three right after I unsub right before MoP.
I also can tell most of the time when a player is trolling to get players to go back to the private servers. That alone tells me what Blizzard is doing is working as intended.
If Blizzard changes Classic the players will go back to the private server.
Blizzard can not have that happen.
Please remember this is my opinion. I do believe it to be true. It all made sense when I heard Blizzard is releasing TBC an LK.
Right before I came back I was on a LK in chat that’s all I read was about the release of Classic. They were also chatting about LK.

Sir now you know why I will always say, Welcome to Classic.
I hope your having the time of your life playing your favorite expansion.
Think about it now people and yes us players will be asking this. What expansion of WoW do you play? Petty cool

There is a topic for someone.

Apples and oranges.

We have the EXACT same events happening here as they did several years ago from 2005 onward. People asking for changes/additions to the game…what makes you think for one second that the SAME outcome won’t happen?

At least with cooking you try to change the recipe…add more of one thing or less of another…this is the EXACT same recipe…one for disaster IMO

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and each time expecting a different result”

What makes you think for one second that the SAME outcome will happen again? You’re insane.

I just want them to restore the instances to how they were after all the bug fixes.

At the same time not all changes are bad. What made Retail this way is because of too many hand out changes. The saying 1 step forward and 2 steps backs rings true here. If you take away the 2 steps back then you’ve made nothing but positive progress.

Edit: with that being said, classic should stay the way it is but instead Retail should be looking towards removing those steps that have led them to their current problem.

Yes well…I’m not about to sit idly by while people attempt to sabotage the game that we fought for over 10 YEARS to get back just so you people can give the devs more…“practice”.

The current devs can’t be trusted to do ANYTHING to Classic without horribly butchering it

This is a poor example. In the real world you are able to vote with your wallet. If popeyes didn’t have the chinese food I want, I can go to Panda express. If No one in the world wanted fried chicken, Popeyes would have to consider changing their menu.
Wow classic is a unique mmo experience. A better metaphor would be going to the only fried chicken place in the world and asking for unsweet tea instead of the syrup they tend to give you. And the guy standing behind you in line yells at you to go to Taco bell instead! All I want is a decent iced tea with my tendies!

It doesn’t change the underlying concept about what Inni was trying to convey.

If someone doesn’t like Classic because it doesn’t have QoL stuff from retail…too damn bad…Classic and retail are your only options right now so GTF over it and play one or the other. If Blizzard puts out TBC/Wrath later, then go play that, but don’t insist on changing Classic at all because it is the game we fought long and hard to get, and it’s very self centered and selfish of anyone who demands it to change to fit THEIR desires

You are lumping all changes into one category. Some people are arguing for QoL type stuff. Others argue that changes to raid classes should be implemented to compensate for the decision to start us at 1.12. When you lump any change together regardless of why together with QoL buffs you just look silly.

Also, this “we” stuff is pure cringe.
