slippery slopes are a fallacy for a reason. Also, not everyone agrees that the state of retail is that bad.
Why does everything have to be an extreme?

âYou wanted literally every change that was added to retail which is why itâs bad.â
This isnât an argument. I hope youâre playing this game on the lowest settings at 4:9, buddy.
âN-No, not those things. Those donât count.â
lol.
My point, was that Blizzard listened to and gave in to what a very vocal minority wantedâŚmuch like these Classic+ people. And the rest of us quit the game because of it. We didnât like the way that retail had evolved as a result of all of the QoL changes/features. We didnât like the fact that epics were getting handed out like candyâŚwe didnât like losing our server identity/communityâŚetc. etc.
Oh, you mean like they are in Classic?
Yeah and I explained whyâŚthe fact that you chose to ignore it speaks volumes since you know it to be FACT and canât refute that
I asked for a barbershop to change my Dwarfs hair without having to re-level to 60 because I got irritated at her being a brunette and wanted to go blonde, buddy.
And?? There are people out there who want mounts at 20 because itâs such DRUDGERY to run around on foot till 40. That doesnât mean they are getting what they want now does it?
#NOCHANGES
You know whatâs 10x more convenient than a mount at 20?
Playing on a PvE server.
Getting a mount 20 levels earlier is not the same as changing the tint on a Dwarven womanâs braids.
âMuh slipper sloopâ is, literally, not an argument.
I already explained to you why the âslippery slopeâ is NOT a fallacy. I gave you a history lesson with regard to everything that happened to lead retail down the spiraling decline that itâs currently inâŚif you want to ignore and disregard it and continue to try to push your false narrative and excuses to justify why you think that Classic needs a barbershop then thereâs no need for me to continue discussing this with you further. Iâm not going to spend all day talking to you endlessly over and over rehashing whatâs already been said.
Ask for changes/improvements to the retail game then.
Classic is supposed to be authentic. Their words.
THISâŚGTFO of here with your incessant whining about how you MUST have this or that from retail
I already explained to you why the âslippery slopeâ is NOT a fallacy
âA slippery slope argument (SSA), in logic, critical thinking, political rhetoric, and caselaw, is a logical fallacy in which a party asserts that a relatively small first step leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant (usually negative) effect.â
YesâŚhowever the current state of retail PROVES it to be true since itâs already happened ONCE BEFORE. It is the exception NOT the rule. It is NOT a fallacy
Something being changes over the course of FIFTEEN YEARS, is not a slippery slope.
/Facepalm
Iâm not going to continue with this discourseâŚhave fun begging Blizzard for changes you arenât going to get.
Wish in one hand and in the other and watch which one fills first
I accept your concession.
LOL whatever helps you sleep at night
They wonât implement the changes I donât think.
The players asking for all these changes are like politicians, arrive, get it all changed to what they want, then leave it a pile of rubble and go back to their Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Gonna be honest here, I still love retail for many rwasons, however, these are NOT the QOL stuff I would ask for.
The pet and mount tab would be one to bring over though. Without the Pokemon though.
