General Forums Already Pushing for Breaking Changes

slippery slopes are a fallacy for a reason. Also, not everyone agrees that the state of retail is that bad.

Why does everything have to be an extreme?

“You wanted literally every change that was added to retail which is why it’s bad.”

This isn’t an argument. I hope you’re playing this game on the lowest settings at 4:9, buddy.

“N-No, not those things. Those don’t count.”
lol.

My point, was that Blizzard listened to and gave in to what a very vocal minority wanted…much like these Classic+ people. And the rest of us quit the game because of it. We didn’t like the way that retail had evolved as a result of all of the QoL changes/features. We didn’t like the fact that epics were getting handed out like candy…we didn’t like losing our server identity/community…etc. etc.

Oh, you mean like they are in Classic?

Yeah and I explained why…the fact that you chose to ignore it speaks volumes since you know it to be FACT and can’t refute that

I asked for a barbershop to change my Dwarfs hair without having to re-level to 60 because I got irritated at her being a brunette and wanted to go blonde, buddy.

And?? There are people out there who want mounts at 20 because it’s such DRUDGERY to run around on foot till 40. That doesn’t mean they are getting what they want now does it?

#NOCHANGES

You know what’s 10x more convenient than a mount at 20?

Playing on a PvE server.

Getting a mount 20 levels earlier is not the same as changing the tint on a Dwarven woman’s braids.

“Muh slipper sloop” is, literally, not an argument.

I already explained to you why the “slippery slope” is NOT a fallacy. I gave you a history lesson with regard to everything that happened to lead retail down the spiraling decline that it’s currently in…if you want to ignore and disregard it and continue to try to push your false narrative and excuses to justify why you think that Classic needs a barbershop then there’s no need for me to continue discussing this with you further. I’m not going to spend all day talking to you endlessly over and over rehashing what’s already been said.

Ask for changes/improvements to the retail game then.

Classic is supposed to be authentic. Their words.

THIS…GTFO of here with your incessant whining about how you MUST have this or that from retail

“A slippery slope argument (SSA), in logic, critical thinking, political rhetoric, and caselaw, is a logical fallacy in which a party asserts that a relatively small first step leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant (usually negative) effect.”

Yes…however the current state of retail PROVES it to be true since it’s already happened ONCE BEFORE. It is the exception NOT the rule. It is NOT a fallacy

Something being changes over the course of FIFTEEN YEARS, is not a slippery slope.

I’m not going to continue with this discourse…have fun begging Blizzard for changes you aren’t going to get.

Wish in one hand and :poop: in the other and watch which one fills first

I accept your concession.

LOL whatever helps you sleep at night :joy:

They won’t implement the changes I don’t think.

The players asking for all these changes are like politicians, arrive, get it all changed to what they want, then leave it a pile of rubble and go back to their Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Gonna be honest here, I still love retail for many rwasons, however, these are NOT the QOL stuff I would ask for.

The pet and mount tab would be one to bring over though. Without the Pokemon though.
