Blizzard constantly catering to casuals has gotten to the point where heroic raiding is just a waste of time and mythic raiding is just slightly above that, world quests should have been kept at 330 ilvl, or not even offer gear. i wish gearing could return to TBC

This game was the original casual friendly MMO. I think we’ve gone a bit too far with it as well, but you have to realize this was always blizzards design priority.

Yes, true. Even Classic was considered the casual MMO after Everquest’s hardcore MMO. And, really, everything post Trammel in Ultima Online is for casuals.

Honestly my stats are mostly bis, mythic raiders usually have Bis because they types of players are always doing something outside of raiding. In my prime I was pvping, running m+ 10s every day, and mythic/heroic raiding at night. We pretty much control our secondary stats from all the gear we get and the shear amount of content we run. Keep in mind I’m also on a RP server and still am able to achieve this.

That’s basically already the case. I can do 4 world quests a day right now, and come out with more heroic ilvl gear weekly than heroic raiding will give me.
