You also need to understand, MC is the easiest raid. Even in it’s 20 man format. There were 0 ZG’s forming, 0 AQ small’s forming. And not even guild recruitment ads for AQ big. It is DIRE. Following the rune change, I’m not surprised there’s MC pugs. But it’s not going to result in a larger raiding pop for more than a couple of weeks.
You clearly aren’t looking in the right places. Peak times my LFG Bulletin board addon is full enough that I need to scroll down to see everything.
I did a pug ZG HM group today at 3pm EST (1pm ST) and there were 3 listings.
Turn off dungeons and actually look at the raid listings. It’s worse than you realize and a temporary spike at best while people cope with how bad AQ has been for the average sod player.

It’s also not the devs intent for people to bot and buy gold but they don’t properly moderate any of that and it makes everything else worse.
Of course it does. Wish they’d do something about it. But that has nothing to do with idiots wanting to re-implement a system that encourages RMT and botting even more.
You know what encourages botting and RMT? Not getting your account actioned for more than 2 weeks IF you get caught RMTing. People are brazen about it now. And Blizzard still doesn’t care.
Streamers buy gold live. Streamers have been taking dono’s for arena carries for years. And arena is still one of their esport babies. And they don’t do anything about it.
Alot of people also just hate raiding AQ40 and will happily do Naxx in T2 gear.
Sitting in IF for a few mins I’ve already seen 3 guild recruitment adds. It’s also not the weekend and people have work tomorrow.
They do and player reporting helps them alot.
See a bot, report it. See a RMT add report it.
RMT adds and bots will reuse the names (or similar names with an accent) of the banned accounts to demoralize players.
If you hang around Customer Support you see alot of 6 month bans for RMT and people crying.
Ban length is based on account history (how many prior account actions have been taken) and severity of the action they are being sanctioned for.
The initial ban is 2 weeks, and they’re not even consistent about whether they remove all the gold or items bought with RMT funds.
I’m on right now, there’s 7 people in LFG tool, 6 of them are individuals looking for groups, 1 is a group for AQ big that started 2 and a half hours ago. 0 groups forming via LFG chat. That’s pretty bad for a faction with a pop of 8k raiders.
Depends on account actions in the past. If you have had 0 account suspensions prior it will be 2 weeks. If you have had prior account actions it will be longer.
Because they only remove what their logs have shown to be RMT’ed.
It’s also almost midnight on the east coast and almost 10pm Server Time on a Thursday.
It’s not even 10 pm server. And there’s 0 groups forming. Not even for the small/easy content.
I said almost, it will be in 15 mins. It’s a weekday night and people have work tonight.
I really would not call this alive or even a resurgence. And, again, quality of group matters too. If all these new raiders you’re seeing never move up beyond MC H1or BWL 0 Affix, then does it matter at all?
It’s also a weekday and its late. Tomorrow and Saturday will have better numbers.
As for other players, if they have fun doing just MC or BWL and not progress past BWL thats ok. Plenty of people who don’t on Era and soon on Anniversary.
Just as many people don’t do raiding past normal in retail. They are still having fun and content doing dungeons or world content or other grinds.
There’s a reason that guy is on ignore he is a troll just stop responding and keep bumping the gdkp posts they hate it.
Or they can just look through my post history and judge that for themselves.

This is a lie. I’m on alliance wild growth and the pug scene is great! (Yes they actually clear the raids) you have to be smart before the first boss because you can easily tell if a group isn’t gonna make it very far

LoL. Another gdkp propaganda attempt…I for one would love gdkps. I’m a single dad that only has time to play a few hours a week. Would rather use my irl resources to enjoy the game more with my limited time.
I would 100% raid MC,BWL, ZG, AQ10 if there were gdkps… havent touched bwl/mc/zg on my main in a month. Last MC i ran 90% of the gear seemed to be DE’d might as well make some gold for the run and gear out some newer players. They do boost raid numbers and extend life cycles in a big way. Anyway to promote more raiding and players is a net positive.
Not a huge supporter for GDKPS but if the idea was to ban them because of bots and RMT this needs to be revisited IMO.
