Ye they can, now they just pay a flat rate for items instead of straight up bids
Wait till you figure out where that gdkp gold comes from
“gdkping is so much easier than before”
Yeah that’s why there’s 3 threads a day of gdkpers crying
No it’s not lol
That’s because every gdkp raid had gold sellers catering to them, not just the guilds
Eliminating an entire loot system that was popular to reduce overall RMT by say 0.001% wouldn’t be a good decision, right? There has to be some breakpoint where it would make sense.
Imo, we are nowhere even close to that breakpoint with the reduction. Many people feel that (and I proabably agree) that overall amount of RMT has increased on anniversary vs the old era realms where gdkp’s were allowed.
How do you think 99% of the player right now raiding in lionheart helms, edgemasters, flurry axes, etc. bought them? How do you think the majority of the people that full consume every week for raid are affording 200g flaks on a newer server?
They farming 5+ hours a week, or spending $10 to buy gold from the bots that blizz puts zero effort into stopping?
Wrong. I never saw gold buying channels in discords until this iteration of classic.
Far out they are fiesty today. Maybe all their monthly rents are due hahahaha
Straight up lies. Elrons runs would have a gold selling channel in his discords. Biggest runner on AU
That was already happening in 2019, absolutely. If you think otherwise thats hilarious. Its not a GDKP at that point its just plain P2W like it was back then. People buying glaives with real money, etc. It happened then in addtion to GDKPs. Now only that happens instead of both
There really hasn’t, it’s just the same single BS argument about “RMT”. Making the same tired, BS, disproved argument 1000 times isn’t the same thing as having 1000 different arguments.
And there were gdkps allowed in 2019. Yet the economies are super diffy now
Dude a few posts up posted a google trends graph for gold buying on 2019 vs anniversary and anniversary matches 2019 yet less pop and no gdkp. I mean the writing is on the wall
That’s because it used to be Teamspeak and then before that, Ventrilo.
I’m not a fan of Elron, but that isn’t in any way accurate.
you mean how they said it was rmt then changed it to traditional guild structures when that was wrong?
If it is you just admitted to gold buying, reported
Go ahead and quote where i said that
No im saying it had no impact, don’t lie
It wouldn’t have an effect
Oh boy do I love a good GDKP thread.
Now they still buy gold but can’t use it on gdkp’s. Instead they buy BiS or pre BiS boe’s, epic riding, boost alts, and 200g flasks every week.
Good thing they can’t use that gold on gdkp’s though, right?
This would be like the govt banning corvettes to reduce speeding, while not banning any other cars. Less corvettes on the road means less cars speeding overall so that’s a good thing. Even if it’s only a 0.01% decrease.
That sounds ridiculous.
Every single facet of this game is full of RMT and you’re delusional if you think it isn’t.
The fact is removing GDKP did absolutely nothing to the RMTers bottom line and it also hurt legitmate players.
If you’ve ever sold anything on the AH, congrats, you’re just as complicit in RMT as a legitimate player in a GDKP.
Because the gold sellers would sell directly on the gdkp discords.
The google trend means it’s harder for them to sell.
Have you seen the crying?
It has definitely hurt them
I haven’t seen the crying just people who have their head buried in the sand regarding how present RMT is in every aspect of the game.
