Well to be fair, the current (and previous) staff don’t exactly have a great track record of writing relationships going back to Thrall/Aggra.
In fact, I’d say they write them rather poorly amd trope-y. But then again, the game isn’t necessarily designed to showcase well written relationships. Thus, ancillary media is necessary.
But when someome without a sense of thr universe, characters, history, etc. comes in and has to adhere to corporate mandates and, maybe, only has a fanbase and is popular because they created badly written tumblr fanfic about Twilight (see E.L. James/50 Shades of Grey) and no real understanding of the themes themselves, everything suffers.
That’s why I’d kill to see Blizzard create their own imprint featuring established Blizzard writers and vetted fan submitted pieces because then you can avoid most of those pitfalls. Mostly.

Never got into Jedi Academy though I did thoroughly enjoy the small part during the Yuzhon Vong arc where Boba Fett saved the Resistance during a Vong Attack and Han was surprised by it LOL
Prre-patch catch-up are nice if you know the look for them. Be sure to check out ALL world quests as there are a lot of 410 - 420 gear and weapon drops that can help you gear up really quickly.

In an odd mind about it myself.
It was nice the two times I had level 3 - but not really worth the effort to keep it up.
overall - if u were happy with the book, awesome. For me it was just too klunky, and the human-centric turn that the story seems to take is not desireable (way too many wonderful races in Azeroth) - with parts feeling forced (like Calia - a winchimed odd resurection is not the same as a true forsaken).
It’s kind of why I’ve been liking going back to classic more - nice slow builds on stories - not stuff forced or rushed.)
Babylon 5 felt like a franchise that got it right- good story build despite lots of problems (from the network, to a first season actor having serious mental health issues) - it started slow and built up over 4 seasons

The best show that ever played on TV. Seriously. The idea of a series starting out with a story arc, that with the first episode, the last episode was known so they could build characters knowing where they would end up. Just amazing writing and some very, very good acting.
I know a Gnomey Hunter that’s been enjoying it too

Omgosh yes, there were just so many home runs in this series. Even recurring folks Like Walter Koeing seem to hit a home run
This one don’t have the grabbyhands, but battlefield rez and ability to runaway from grabbyhanded dk’s sounds tempting

Depends on the anime. Lot of the newer stuff is just junk. Get some of the older stuff like YuYu Hakusho, Robotech/Macross, FMAB, and Bleach and have them do character studies!
I do have to wonder though, if any of the current staff have read any fantasy other than Harry Potter or fiction other than 50 Shades of Grey.
