What happens when you take the terror of the Legend of Oyashiro-sama from Higurashi When They Cry and make it so that the invisible stalker avoids killing the person being stalked but casually massacres anyone else who crosses his path with a sweep of his claws not out of jealousy but simply because he can? Oh and he is a Big Red Demon with clawed feet and batwings unlike Oyashiro-sama.
Such a stalker would be menacing to say the least. Even more so if he was in the Higurashi Setting showing up with loud foot stomps right after Oyashiro-sama’s normal sounding foot falls have stopped just to rub in the fact that there is 2 invisible stalkers with one being violent while the other is more passive.
If the murderously violent stalker started showing up before Hanyuu became a ghost that would make his legend well known from the start with everyone knowing this guy can’t be reasoned with unlike Oyashiro-sama.
What happens? After said demon rampage, I’d think you’d want to call a certain green-clad elf man with a purple magnifying glass and an evil-destroying sword to solve your problem. I’m sure he can manage it after defeating demon pig men every other life. Then it would become an even more legendary legend, and the title would grow to be even more of a mouthful. But, really, it seems like you’d need to call someone who can mash the demon because that sounds like it would be a real problem.

Looking at Beatrice’s dialogue with Genji and Nanjo in Umineko When They Cry’s Episode 7 I suspect that Higurashi When They Cry’s Meguri Manga will depict the confrontation between Hanyuu and Eua quite differently from Sotsu since the actual Writer for Higurashi is making sure the adaptation is done right(since the Anime was a loose adaptation of the Visual Novel Writer’s plot).
I suspect that Hanyuu’s Fragment Lambdadelta will confront Eua in her Red Eyed Witch Satoko form with this statement in regards to Satoko getting Loops:
“I never wanted to live in a body like this!! This body that isn’t even capable of love…!! What’s… what’s the point in living like that?! This isn’t a human’s life…!! It’s like being furniture!! That’s right, I’m… furniture…!! Furniture…!! Why… why didn’t you let me die back then?!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh…!!!”
Since Virgilla AKA the Real Beatrice is supposed to make Beatrice return to her original form I suspect that Eua will revert Lambdadelta to her Hanyuu form during their battle and later get her horn broken banishing her from the Sea of Fragments.
It would make not only Kumasawa San a metaphorical representation of Eua but Genji(who claims to be furniture which considering Eua is actually Hanyuu’s horn is a fact) and Nanjo would represent Eua as well.
The true Culprits of Higurashi Gou/Sotsu/Meguri AKA Umineko Legend of the Golden Witch, Umineko Turn of the Golden Witch and the unreleased Umineko Land of the Golden Witch is Eua, Dr. Irie and Mayor Kimiyoshi.
Banquet of the Golden Witch which represents Higurashi Mei on the other hand simply has Dr. Irie and Mayor Kimiyoshi as the Culprits with Lambdadelta taking the blame as Une(and bringing back the Shannon and Kannon pieces by possessing Rika and Satoko) and Bernkastel(the real Battler) taking the blame by passing off herself as a Tsukuyami controlling other Tsukuyami(which are illusions with some actually being Humans infected with Hinamizawa Syndrome).
