Hard question. I don’t do group activities any more so the loss of LFR would have no personal impact. That said, if LFR were removed because Blizz renewed its commitment to elitist jerks, I’d have to reconsider my commitment to the game and financially supporting Blizz.

As Cyndilou said, the emotional and personal connection to the game is huge but all the same, I’m spending fewer hours per week playing which is not how I expected things to go during retirement.

I think the slime kitty carry groups are praiseworthy and am happy to see them but no, I don’t want the kitty.

Thank you.

Pokemon crystallizing is kinda weird, and yeah the professor who got sucked into a ultra space worm hole is… well… dead. I don’t think he lived.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet in 3 months!

Good Luck!

Sounds about right for a lot of players at the moment, the game has been in a content drought state for an extended period of time now. Honestly it “feels” like the only good content we’ve gotten this whole expac was the recycled Mage Tower from back in December

If it weren’t for the WoW token I probably wouldn’t even be here, currently paid up on sub fees until November just from tokens… thank goodness my roster of alts keeps me afloat/generate at least 1 WoW token per month

I suppose lurking the forums “sort of” counts as content/something to do when the ingame is slow

Looking at Higurashi Gou/Sotsu one wonders what would happen if someone as clever as Star Trek Deep Space 9’s Garak was Lambdadelta’s accomplice.

Lambdadelta’s goal while using Satoko as a host in Sotsu(as opposed to Meguri which might have Satoko’s crimes be an elaborate illusion by Lambdadelta to hide Dr. Irie’s rampage throughout the Time Loops) is to traumatize Rika into staying in Hinamizawa and not go to St. Lucia which could have much more easily been accomplished if Rika was traumatized at St. Lucia.

If Garak were an accomplice given Time Loops like Satoko(and be informed of Satoko’s goal) he’d be a much more dangerous foe to reckon with. He would make sure the Students of St. Lucia were injected with Hinamizawa Syndrome at random and make sure they are pushed to cause Rika the most trauma possible.

Garak would do his utmost to send a note to Rika making it clear there are 2 other Time Loopers besides herself and that the note writer is not only one of them but is plotting elaborate nightmarish schemes while the other Looper is simply watching everything unfold.

That would make Rika less likely to suspect Satoko of being the culprit since the Writer would be using a writing style that Satoko is unlikely to preform but mention things well beyond Satoko’s capacity for knowledge. Satoko will be noted as the Looper who is merely watching events unfold in Rika’s mind while she is completely oblivious to Garak’s involvement.

In the unlikely event Garak is discovered by Rika as a Looper he would make sure in the next Time Loop to simply murder every Student of St. Lucia besides Rika and Satoko which would make it look as if he has a grudge against Loopers as a whole.

Garak would use methods well beyond Satoko and Rika’s capabilities while making cruder more survivable attacks upon them at St. Lucia itself which will make the authorities assume the Culprit is simply trying to finish the job and not associated with Satoko or Rika in anyway.

If things get really inconvenient for Garak he can just blow up St. Lucia while Rika and Satoko(who would not be informed of the Plan) watch(leaving both with gaping mouths with Rika turning towards Satoko and notice that she is in more shock than Rika herself seemingly affirming her innocence) and send a message to Rika that the Looper doesn’t want her leaving Hinamizawa.

If Rika doesn’t get the hint than Garak can figure out what possible replacement Schools outside Hinamizawa she is going to and get rid of all of them too thus making it clear that Rika is not allowed to leave Hinamizawa thus forcing her to give up.

She is capable of giving up since Satoko’s less effective methods made her give up on leaving until Takano went and gave up on her own plan making Satoko’s presence more noticeable. Garak would be so well hidden and impossible to plan for(and only contacting Satoko before each Loop during her meetings with Eua) that Rika would give up and decide to stay in Hinamizawa.

Garak would give out the presence of Eua perhaps but that would mean nothing to Rika and Hanyuu wouldn’t know what the name even means since she knows Eua as simply “the other Hanyuu”(of course in the Meguri Universe the Hanyuu that Rika is communication with is Lambdadelta while Eua is the real Hanyuu that Lambdadelta split off from in Higurashi Rei).

In the Meguri Universe on the other hand Garak would be instructed to find out who keeps killing Rika and wind up killing Dr. Irie and Mayor Kimiyoshi whose bodies will be discovered under an exploded chandelier in St. Lucia’s which would confuse Rika and Satoko since they would now know that Dr. Irie and Mayor Kimiyoshi attempted to murder them and require an investigation of their residences which would lead to the discovery of Hinamizawa Syndrome not changing in how it infects which would devastate Rika who now knows that Satoko somehow became a second Queen Carrier(actually because Lambdadelta possessed her) and that Hinamizawa Syndrome has not gone away.

Happy Thorsday!!!

You all are the bestest!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Just looked at the forums of Warhammer 40K and discovered that Tzeentch doesn’t warp the mind but constantly backstabs those who use his power.

Or to be more specific he constantly backstabs everyone in the 40K and Fantasy Universes.

His backstabbery is most noticeable when it is preformed on his cultists.

For instance Vilitch the Curseling was fused to his brother’s body and given control over it due to his request that his situation of being bullied by his brother would be reversed. Of course despite having control over his brother’s body he did not have control over his mind and said brother soon started asking to be the one in control so Tzeentch obliged.

If you want an extra body to cast spells while your usual body carves up or guns down your enemies you should expect for Tzeentch to prepare a second mind to come with it that will take over at the most inconvenient time(not good even for a Tau who would make sacrifices for the Greater Good) and demand that there be only one mind inside the Body and not have to worry about possession when making negotiations.

A Tau or Squat preforming such a deal should also request that the brain that needs surviving to function be the one the Tau has right now not the extra one on the new Body growing on the Tau’s back.

Tau learn from their mistakes so they are quite capable of flourishing in regards to deals with Tzeentch(the Tau already faced Exterminatus from Imperium so they are already prepared for the Madmen’s arrival) and Khorne(who of course needs his Daemon Captured for said deals). Slaanesh and Nurgle are the ones the Tau will despise as business partners.

Slaanesh would not resist the urge to make whoever is making a deal with him into a Perfection Fanatic driven to Excess and Nurgle would break the Soul into Despair obsessed with Plagues and Poxes.

Both are enemies of the Greater Good.

Looking at things from certain perspectives I strongly suspect that Ryukishi07’s own plan for Higurashi Gou was to have Takano’s leaving Hinamizawa for unknown reasons(that Eua herself noticed) in the seemingly Perfect Timeline be a reference to Ange saving Battler from EVA-Beatrice.

If indeed the case than Satoko is Beatrice and Gold Eyes Rika is Ange Beatrice with Demon Rika(I.E. Rika herself) being Erika Furudo.

Tohya Hachijo is basically a representation of the fact that Satoko got dumped into a Fragment where Rika doesn’t exist or to be specific into a Fragment where Rika and Satoko are forced to share a Body despite the toll on their sanity.

In otherwords Une is one of Satoko’s illusions after she became a full Witch breaking free of Lambdadelta. In reality Satoko and Rika are trapped in a single Body with it only being discovered during the ending of Twilight of the Golden Witch when Satoko gives Rika the necessary visual stimulation to awaken.

Higurashi Meguri is Umineko while Higurashi Sotsu is that Timeline that Bernkastel was trying to trick Ange into creating and was forced to make herself(a fact hinted at by Umineko Alliance of the Golden Witch having Bernkastel claiming she couldn’t find a present for Modern Day Ange I.E. a Timeline where she and Battler both existed).

Sotsu was a split in the Timeline that Bernkastel created after seeing Yellow Eyed Rika’s interventions to be cruel to Yellow Eyes Rika while Meguri is the original Timeline.

In otherwords in Meguri we can expect Gold Eyes Rika to randomly show up to help Rika while outing herself as Satoko(getting killed and banished by Lambdadelta in retaliation) setting things up for Gold Eyes Rika’s birth.

Sotsu is Bernkastel and Lambdadelta creating a split in the True Timeline(by copying Rika and Satoko onto pieces for a staged game that ends with Rika going to St. Lucia while Satoko stays in Hinamizawa) while Meguri is Bernkastel losing to Satoko whom Bernkastel saw as the true opponent.

I just binge watched all of Sandman on Netflix! … I want more. lol

Have a great Saturday Everyone!!
