What can I say? I’m knee-jerk pretentious. LOL.
Oh, nice petticoats.

Oh, nice petticoats.
I love petticoats irl. I love wearing poofy skirts and dresses.
I remember you writing about it. That’s very cool. More the classic past century style or including the petticoats from the 1950’s as well. Hey, those poodle skirts didn’t poof themselves.
That is very well spoken and a well thought out reply. Maybe still a lot of thinking to do, but everything you’ve said makes sense.
I have a silly question for ya’ll.
So I wear this black ring on my middle finger. It’s an Asexual thing. Lately though it kinda feels sticky on the inside no matter how often I wash my hands. It’s not some fancy ring like wedding rings or anything.
The sticky feelings just driving me bonkers. Anyone got any advice?
The old classic was to put a layer of clear nail polish on it though I’m not entirely certain that’s good for all metals.
I’ve read that warm water and dish detergent for 15 minutes will clean up most items, though it won’t remove stuff like silver tarnish.
I’ll try the dish soap thing later. Thanks. I can’t even remember what this ring is made out of. So I was just worried lol
well sub is going to run out soon so goodbye all
“It’s not letting the skin under it breathe. It could also be absorbing the natural oils that help the skin feel right.”
“Do you recall if it’s stone or metal?”

Had to squint to read this on the inside of the ring but it says titanium.
Titanium is nearly indestructible so worrying about damaging it is mostly moot. Looks like any dish detergent will work for a short soak and toothbrush cleaning and then an ammonia based glass cleaner to finish it.
tyvm.
I know it’s just a black ring but I’ve been wearing it for a few years now. A black ring on the right middle finger is a sort of asexual pride thing so it’s sentimental even without it being some fancy thing with a gemstone or whatever.
To quote this website if anyone is curious
Some people will wear a black ring on the middle finger on their right hand in order to signify that they are asexual. There’s no particular significance to the color or finger selection. Black was chosen because it was a neutral color, while the right middle finger was chosen largely because a ring on the left middle finger would clash with a wedding band or engagement ring on the left.
Good luck on your new adventures.
Okay the dish soap helped. That weird sticky sensation on the ring is gone.
“Keep it clean. Metals will draw the oils out of your skin, and they don’t let the skin breathe. This causes the skin to retain any sweat it has under the ring.”
