If they can tank, They will be my new main forever, probably without ever looking back.
I’ve been my guilds main tank for years now, Nothing would make me happier than getting to be a Crazy goblin in a mech suit, tanking whatever blizzard can throw at me.
It’s all about the fantasy of Tinker for me. The Idea that I can take on world destroying threats with nothing but a Spanner and my intelligence.

I do think they’re silly. That’s one of the reason’s i want them so badly.
Silly classes are a good addition to the game in many ways.
WoW is inherently a silly universe and we have plenty of edgy classes
Not every day. Only when I have a good idea for a post, and someone didn’t make a Tinker Thread already.
I don’t wanna be unnecessarily overwhelming. I just like talking to people, especially when they try to argue silly things like “Hunters with engineering are Tinkers”
I whole heatedly admit that I attempt to stir up arguments in these posts.
Good, productive arguments help to keep threads alive, and they Also genuinely help change people’s minds.

How so?
Playing a Hunter allows me to tame animals and use ranged weapons.
And Engineering lets me use 1 bomb every 5 minutes.
They don’t let me fight in Mech Suits, Heal, Tank, or anything of Value.
You’re still literally just a Hunter.
But you can also use Blingtron.

Just use a gun as a survival hunter + Engineering. And get a mech mount.
At this point just make Tinkerer a class so we don’t have to see these threads anymore lol

You suggest I use a gun, on a spec that uses melee weapons.
While I use my animal pet to help me out.
And use Engineering to do what exactly?
Deploy Blingtrons? Repair bots?
So: I’m a Hunter.
I can’t tank in a mech. I can’t heal my allies.
I can’t do any of the things we see Tinkers do.
How does that make me a Tinker?
It would shut me up. That’s for sure.

Being completely honest here I like talking about this in your topics.
I don’t like Tinkers for real, but it’s still fun to argue with you in these posts and see how you’re so passionate about them xD
It won’t change my mind about them though, but I can really appreciate when someone passionate about things they like/want, wow needs more people like you trying to improve the game.

My Tinker will probably be a Kezan Goblin who was not particularly wealthy, and spent her time doing odd jobs for pennies a day.
Only for Deathwing to Attack and free her from Poverty.

I love that you didn’t pick the “I was the Queen or Trade Prince” (Trade Princess?) or some super dooper character. Just a normal Goblinette, trying to make her way in the world.
I like making my characters the underdogs.
