I’d do it if I was terrible at PvP and that was the only way I could get kills.

I wouldn’t, but then again Im not a douchecanoe that gets their rocks off by inconveniencing everyone else.
There is PvP and then there is being an assbag just to be an assbag. Most of the time that’s why its done, they get their jollies from making others miserable.
Granted this why I left PvP servers around Cata ( that and Shattered Hand got severely imbalanced), Im not playing to be someone elses entertainment.

I rolled a druid for classic specifically so I can gank whomever I can and run away from fights I can’t win.

Absolutely. If you didn’t want to worry about trivial matters, such as getting ganked during an escort quest, you should have rolled on a pve server.

Yes. It has happened to me, and once 60 I’ll make a point of aggravating hordies to no end by impeding their progress at every possible opportunity.

No, but I can’t say it wouldn’t be extremely tempting to chain seduce someone as their escort walks off to failed quest distance while they sit there helplessly staring at succubus cleavage. I’m a sucker for creative griefing.
I was in STV and usually, its KOS there. In the north part of the zone, saw and sheeped a gnome and was ready to unload. Noticed he was going the escort from the troll area.
I let him go.
Maybe an hour later, got into it with a rogue and the battle was pretty even. There nearby there was that same gnome. He could have assisted and I would have died a terrible death. However, he cheered me. I won.
Karma wins (at least in this case!)

I don’t gank. I’ll only attack someone lower if they are doing the same or if they have ganged up on somebody. Any pvp fights that have happened were in self-defense.

I ganked a warlock doing the chicken escort in Feralas. I felt bad so I held off the mobs attacking his chicken and let him kill me while emoting sorry. Then the scum came back and ganked me doing the quest!

hah… this happened to me… some high level warlock pwned me while doing an escort in stonetalon… i was less than pleased. that was awhile ago though. like level 25 or something.
Depends on the character I’m playing and the character on the escort quest.
Most of my Horde absolutely would, my druid very unlikely, and would help if it was another druid.
My Pally would gank if it was a lock or undead, do nothing for any other orc or troll, and help if it was a cow.
My gnome mage would gank assuming the horde was taller than him.

Ah yes the PvP server mentality. Let’s just go mess with someone’s time and decide how they’re going to play the game they pay for. It’s fun.

I dont see a problem with it. Its also why i choose not to roll pvp this time.
Ill be taken monthes maybe few years to get done what i want. Pvp just makes that even longer.

I was questing in hinterlands and made this duo / trio fail the chicken quest 3 times in a row while also making them take durability hit. I enjoyed it very much. They were decently far into quest too. Death to alliance scum.

If they are on a PvP server, it is the game they payed for, and it’s not at all unreasonable to assume they want the fun/challenge of some PvP.
