I always see players from PVP realms calling those on normal servers noobs and carebears all the time. Why is this?

Because playing PVE basically takes away the fun outta ganking or getting ganked, at that point its like playing a game like skyrim or witcher but co-op.

Personally I couldn’t care less about world pvp, so I’m on a pve server and I enjoy it. If you enjoy world pvp, then go ahead…

Insecure with their own choice, so they attack the other one to feel better about it I guess.
I mostly only play on PvP servers because that’s where my friends play. I haven’t gone out of my way to gank anyone since like TBC when we use to roam around on alt rogues to kill people.

PvE is for generally for folks who have done the PvP thing for decades and can’t be bothered any more. It’s boring, predictable (if you think people can’t be as predictable as a scripted PvE fight, you’re delusional) and wastes a lot of time.

They are fine, same with the RP variants. It’s all about what you want to do. I prefer PVP in my life alongside RP so I joined an rp-pvp server. If you pick pve or a pure RP server this is also fine. I play on RP servers w/ non PVP minded friends.

Because competition brings out the worst in people who were never taught proper sportsmanship. There’s nothing wrong with a PVE server. Not everyone likes PVP. I wouldn’t be caught dead on a PVE server, but you do you if that’s your thing.

All the servers, but the lucky one or two that manage to keep their pops balanced, are going to be pve eventually.
We’ve seen it before, in Wow and in other MMO’s, and we’ll see it again.
The basic truth about the majority of people rolling on pvp servers is that they don’t want a challenge, they want to win.
