Gamers’ Choice Awards Nomination

Shameful! I enjoy this game, play with my kids. We still love it. We still love it in the current bad shape it is in.
That said. If it is a vote for lifetime games… sure I would. For the last few years… not a chance.
What makes this topic shameful is we have been begging for a blue for just about everything…
AND YOU POST ABOUT THIS??
Makes me sad you want to show this off but nothing anywhere about current issues.
Good luck at the awards… that said… please get with it and respond to OUR matters that really need looking into.

I wanna vote for WoW, I really do. But this game doesn’t deserve a reward in its current state. :frowning:

People wonder why the blues and dev team don’t communicate… :man_shrugging::woman_shrugging:

Things wouldn’t be this bad if they actually DID communicate.

I’ll let all the voices here drown yours.

You be outnumbered. By a lot.

The forums are not the reason they dont communicate . They dont do it because they are terrible at communication in general . Self admittedly .

WoW is supposed to be a community effort. It isn’t supposed to be an echo chamber where everyone pats the devs on the back. Ever since WoD it’s been an echo chamber with a love it or leave it air about it. Love it or leave it has a curious way of causing many potential customers to pick the latter.

I’m sitting here imagining the copy for this post being passed to Yth from their PR dept after being cleared, and his shoulders slumping as he says: “FML. We all know how this is going to go. Okay well, I’m going in boys, wish me luck…”

IMO this topic is not the appropriate venue for everyone’s frustrations.

There should be a forum where people can submit a suggestion and no public comments are allowed. Only likes, flagging, and a poll answers will be allowed. The dev team or blues can then read the suggestion and the communities feeling on it. Then they can comment on it as appropriate.

I voted but not for WoW BfA. It wasn’t deserved.

You should get a hold of NASA. I’m sure they would be greatly interested in the material you make your waders out of before venturing into the GD toxicity. Or Marvel, I’m sure they have some type of super hero powers.

I did too.

CBS is still around? Aren’t they getting bought out?

This. I’d ‘like’ it, but I ran out of those…?

I… don’t like these new forums.

At this point I would rather vote for FFXIV and I don’t even play that game. I’d vote for them though just because they actually listen to and develop content for their players instead of shareholders.

WoW has never been a community effort. Blizzard created and develops this game. We just play it, however it’s presented… or not. Feedback is welcomed but it has never been the basis for this game’s development. It may influence certain features or decisions (killing water striders, Real ID) but they will never remove a new feature of an xpac midway. They may tweak and adjust - like what 8.1 and 8.1.5 is doing.

If you think GD’s rabid vitriolic commentary will change the game’s content tomorrow, you’re delusional.

Translation: Game perfect. Just because you put in 15 dollars a month to support it doesn’t mean you should have any say in how it’s going.

Ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, people WANT to keep playing this game, but they’re making it excessively hard to want too to do so?

Coca-Cola listened to their customers when they said the new recipe sucked. They brought in Coca-Cola ‘Classic’ and the ‘new’ recipe got canned, last I heard anyways.

This ‘developer’s shouldn’t have to listen to the people that support them uwu’ is literally corporate suicide.

If people don’t like your stuff, they’re not going to keep buying into it when you’ve proven time, and time again that you don’t care what they think, despite them giving you their hard-earned dollary-doos.

It shouldn’t be that hard to wrap your brain around, but here we are lol.

Why vote for something when the other options are leagues better.

WoW SHOULD be a community effort, because if it wasn’t the game would have crashed in Warlords and Legion wouldn’t have been as good as it was.

Problem is, the Devs seem to be taking one step forward, then two steps back by listening to their consumers one expac, then completely drowning them out like children with their fingers in their ears going, “LALALACAN’THEARYOU”, then just doing whatever the frick they want.

Harkens back to the whole, “You think you want that, but you don’t” quote that’s been lambasted repeatedly over the years.

We clearly DO want that. Your subs SOARED in Legion, and now they’re tanking again. It’s been fun, Blizz, but if BfA turns into another Warlords of Draenor I refuse to support this company anymore. We’ll see how 8.1 plays out, I guess.

voted for Final fantasy, If you want to win awards start fixing your game instead of showing off useless gamer’s awards just to be a special snowflake
