anyone else experiencing this?
I updated my game driver, disabled addons, no change though sadly.
sometimes I’ll get a message from my computer: “World of Warcraft is not responding”.
it seems to eventually fix itself after 5-10 seconds, but its very annoying.
I have no idea wtf is going on. Ive had this same PC since Legion and have not had any issues with any Xpac concerning FPS or Frame Pausing. This entire expac no matter addons disables…graphics all the way donw…I get like 4 FPS in dorn until i land and then get 80. PVP zones laggy as heck… Its been blizz this whole time as you can see from all the posts but they wont do anything about it
I have the same problem. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, the game freezes for 5-10 seconds and then it resolves itself. The music will continue playing in the background, but the screen is just frozen and the game doesn’t react to inputs.
The issue started very recently.
right, that sounds exactly like the same problem I’m having. it started like this morning or yesterday I think. Definitely was not the case last Tuesday.
Others are having the same issue so you’re not alone. Just started very recently with me as well. Any zone ins/outs of dungeons, etc, or just logging into the game and its freeze city.

You might be running into a different issue than the OP. If the hardware 8 years old, does it still meet the requirements?
Yeah. I’m noticing a delay every time I zone in to a new place where it requires a loading screen. However, if I’m on a guildless character, no delay. 
Yep. It seems its only happening to ppl who are in larger guilds/guilds.
I did find that checking off guild news filters in the guild info section fixed the zone in lag.
Count me as another one having the same issues.

Same problem here, every time i log in or take any portal the game freezes for 5-10 seconds as well.
Going on for me as well. Would love if Blizz would take a look at this
Turn off news alerts for Guild messages.
Same with me. even turning in quests or leleling up it freezes for 30-60 seconds.
Just started last week after update. I have cleaned my computer, defrag, anti virus,updated drivers and it is still doing it. Now I cant even log on.
Has anyone had any update to this mine just started doing this. I cant play the game or even log without it freezing. Now im uninstalling the game and going to try reinstalling. Im so frustrated tried for hours no resolve.
I cant even load game either it literally just freezes for few the unfreezes then freezes … i literally dont know what to do. I uninstalled the game and then re-downloaded it will try again. Before i did that disabled addons and deleted cache and deleted wtf files… guess ill try again when i get home. Super frustrated. Yesterday and the whole month ive had no issues what so ever. I dont what happened. Between Tuesday and now.
