This is still happening for me, and I’ll add some more threads that I’ve found since my initial post. One thing that was suggested was if you are in a big guild, unchecking all of the checkboxes in the news filters may help. It did not help for me. Last night, I unchecked all of the news filters and ran a couple dungeons, still experiencing the random freezes.
What gives? Fix this already for crying out loud. Characters that are in large guilds constantly freeze, disconnect, etc, however whenever I log on to any chars I have not in guilds there is no game issue whatsoever. Can we get a fix for this please?
The game freezes for 5-10 seconds after a loading screen. Doesn’t happen all the time, but can happen when first logging in, or after using the hearthstone, portal, etc.
I am at my wits end. I bought a very powerful gaming PC in October and have had no issues until about a week ago. 5-10 second lag spikes during keys, raids and delves. I uninstalled and reinstalled wow, moved to a low population server, reinstalled addons and WA’s. I cannot push keys or raid like this and I just do not know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions/is anyone running into this problem? Help
My game has been having instances where I will freeze and my resolution will change to a strange number. I run the game on 1440p for instance, and when it freezes my resolution will be 2560x1421. Last night it froze mid raid and changed to 2468x1400. I’ve tried to scan and repair at least 3 times so far to no success. This was never an issue back in Dragonflight.
Wow is stored on my SSD and I am using a 2080 Super gpu. Fully updated. CPU is an i9-9900k if that matters.
anyone else experiencing this?
I updated my game driver, disabled addons, no change though sadly.
sometimes I’ll get a message from my computer: “World of Warcraft is not responding”.
it seems to eventually fix itself after 5-10 seconds, but its very annoying.
Hey all
I have been experiencing moments in M+ dungeons where my game will freeze for long periods of time. Most recently it happened in Stonevault, where the video would freeze but I could still hear the game running for a period of about 5-10 seconds. It recovers after with no crash.
The first time it happened was in Siege, and my game froze but when it reset my UI and scale had reset its size and positions which was really odd.
The only thing I could find related to timing was in gx.log(ha…
