Game Breaking Bug with Catalyst

When you convert a Conquest piece to the Regular Raid equivalent Tier piece, it no longer is giving the Raid Appearance for Tmog like it has in previous seasons.

As someone who plays for Tmog, this is game breaking and needs fixed ASAP :sob:

Yes, last season we were able to collect the normal raid tier appearance by converting conquest in the catalyst but they seem to have done away with that. :dracthyr_a1:

you can upgrade it to get the appearances to that lvl
upgrade has to be the tier item though

Raiders don’t get the PvP tmogs, sounds like a good change to make it balanced out and fair.

If you want raid tmogs, gotta raid!

I literally get the raid piece when converting it. The item name and everything changes to the raid item name :roll_eyes:

So maybe PvP gear just shouldn’t be allowed to be converted at all then

Last patch I flew around an island and tagged rares for 2-3 hours to collect all the normal-heroic raid appearances. :dracthyr_crylaugh: Hoping they do something like that again.

Also no, you can do keys.

Fully upgraded PVP gear, pre and post catalyst, doesn’t unlock the pve appearances.

Last season it did.

Albeit only normal.

pvp will not count it has to be non pvp

You know, this actually low key makes sense. PVPers get free raid transmog, they get to go back to old mythic raids for mounts. Raiders don’t get any of the cool PVP stuff.

Good, why should pvp players get raid transmog? It’s not like I can do anything in PVE and get pvp transmog.

If they made M+ sets I’d be all for raid transmog being only acquired through raiding too.

Because PVP already has too much compared to PVE, and M+ especially.

M+ Rewards:

  • Title: “the Smoldering”
  • Mount: Inferno Armoredon (Only 3/8 dungeons where you can use it and that’s a stretch)
  • Dungeon Teleports (Only useful during season)
  • Title: “the Smoldering Hero”

PVP rewards:

  • Title: Obsidian Gladiator for rated 3v3, and Obsidian Legend for Rated Solo Shuffle
  • Mount: Obsidian Gladiator’s Drake
  • Dragonriding Appearance: Winding Slitherdrake: Embodiment of the Obsidian Gladiator
  • New Vicious mounts–Alliance and Horde-themed Snails (Vicious War Snail)
  • New Weapon Illusion–Shadow Flame
  • New Tabard and Cloak–Obsidian Gladiator’s Tabard, Obsidian Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak
  • New Pennant–Obsidian Legend’s Pennant
  • New Elite Weapon Appearances - Obsidian Gladiator’s
  • Tier Recolor and Elite Tier Recolor

Yeah, that sucks but that’s not game breaking… Now if there were a way to crash the servers with the Catalyst that would be game breaking.

Comparatively though PvP as an experience is awful right now, it needs a lot of help and blizzard doesn’t seem willing to do so. Frankly caring about this when your experience is objectively better anyway is sort of weird.
