The implication that complaints over “nothing to do” have ever been about the game lacking something like a tiny RNG drop chance mount on an RNG spawn is a ridiculous strawman.

A rare that seems to be a 1% chance to spawn for a 1% mount is a pretty unfun RNG experience.

Fix it blizz plz ASAP. People who are saying “don’t do it if you don’t like it” have the narrowest possible view on the subject. Listen to the people that actually want to dedicate brain cells and give valuable feedback to improve on some of these game loops. The end result will be a much more fulfilling overall experience for your player base.

I have done over 200 digs and have seen him spawn 1x. As far as digs yes it isn’t a problem to get to 500 correct as long as you don’t have people trolling or soloing them bc they have no idea what’s going on. It’s not that we want it handed to us. But it needs to get tweaked a little bit.

“Don’t do it if you don’t like it” isn’t how we improve the game.

Raiders cried buckets about artifact power systems until they stopped being used. M+ers cried about soulbinds and conduits. Both cried about Legion legendaries.

Yet when a collector complains that one rare out of dozens in a patch is an anomaly in design, “oh, you don’t HAVE to do that :):):), it’s fiiiine”.

Blizzard is obviously designing content with collectors in mind these days. They’ve added so many extra ways to track cosmetics, and various ways to get those cosmetics. This is an example of either an oversight, a bug, or a plain bad design decision for the people interested in the content. As such, we’ll give Blizzard the feedback. If you don’t like the complaining, you don’t have to read the topic. If you won’t like the mount because it’s “too easy to get”, you don’t have to collect it.

I don’t care about the Percentage chance of the mount drop, but the spawn rate of the rare is brutal. 2 hours of shoveling for him to spawn today. I think the spawn rate needs and increase.

yep. I’m fine with the chance to drop from the rare being low.

but I’m not fine with the chance for the rare to even spawn also being low. it’s like double crappy rng and it isn’t fun.

Despite what some mindless individuals think, collectors don’t want hundred percent drop rates on common spawns. Just not both a low spawn rate and a low drop rate.

Either make it spawn a lot more and don’t touch the drop rate, or bring the drop rate up in line with how long it takes to spawn right now. Or find some other method to let people earn the mount, like selling it for 100k scrap so there’s a definitive endpoint.

The TLPD had a 100% drop rate when it spawned. As did all seven of the WoD rares that drop mounts. And the Void Talon. And Poseidus. And the camel. Conversely, rares that spawn every 30-45 minutes have roughly 5% drop rates, and few people complained about that.

It’s only when there’s a combination of wasting hours on an attempt for a tiny chance that there’s a problem. Some silly person mentioned Baron Riverdare’s mount as if that was equivalent, but while that mount was rare it was a guaranteed CHANCE at the mount every 45 minutes. The Gallagio Garbage has no guaranteed CHANCE at a drop because the rare most often doesn’t spawn for hours. Just because there are anomalies where it spawns twice in ten minutes doesn’t make it enjoyable, or good.

took me 120+ chests to get it to drop from my chest

It hasn’t even been a week yet. That must’ve been a lot of scrap farming considering the chests are like 1k cans.
