How about Blacksmithing in game? Where are the materials being used? We hammer the air and poof, we have an item in our inventory. Smelting… we do a little with our hand and poof we have the metal bars in our bags. When we runeforge where it the item? on our hip or on our back the entire time and poof it gets runeforged.
There are limitations within this game, a lot of them, so Blizzard has to work within the confines of what that system will allow. So yes, they can have a bunch of shards that come together in a way that looks like its going to form a 2h weapon and poof, 2 1h weapons come out.
Its an updated model for consistency.

So were blood and unholy. Parry hasting existed up until a certain point later in the expansion and DW could make it to where you potentially took more damage. Its why expertise is also an indirect tank stat since it allows you hit actually hit the target more so there is less chance of a parry so parry hasting doesnt happen.
Go for it, it doesnt mean it will be good. Losing out on strike damage for Blood is a bad idea and why I was killing 2 enemies for when these DW blood dk’s were only killing 1 enemy. Or even unholy, you lose out on strike damage for what? Dots dont crit and they dont do enough damage to replace that missing strike damage, you might get more Blood Caked blades but again you dont overcome the loss of strike damage.
If you want to nerf yourself then by all means go for it. Just dont complain about it.

Sad part is, they’re raging against something that won’t even affect their fun. They don’t have to take it while others of us can choose to do so. I think they’re afraid that Bliz may choose to take dual wielding away and force frost to 2H, like how they forced dual wield on us in Legian. A thing they shouldn’t (and near certainly won’t) do.

Yes, consistency. I guess you didnt notice that TBC Khadgar has a completely different model. Hes an old man, beared, white hair. New Khadgar looks younger somehow. Much younger. So playing through the game, it wouldnt make sense to have vastly different models for the same thing. Its not like its just a high res version of the same model. Funny how you act smug like you think you got me on something yet the argument is so bad.

If you want to nerf yourself then so be it. Thats your choice. If you want to have less procs that they havent been able to equalize since ever, if you dont want to have the DW mechanics that play into things like Icecap, Cold Blooded Rage and KM procs, if you dont want to have 2 runeforges then thats on you. Dont complain when your poor choice doesnt live up to another choice.
Go to Shattrath, then realize your argument is wrong because old man khadgar is replaced with new young high fidelity graphics khadgar in the mess of old bad graphics Shattrath.

If you dont know what that means, you can ask for me to clarify it. And no im not wrong in what I said. TBC Khadgar is an old man. Right? White beard and all that, new Khadgar IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT MODEL. Therefor for consistency sake throughout the entire game, they changed his Shattrath model to his updated model. It would be extremely stupid for him to have 2 completely different models. Its not like he just got a high def model with higher poly count.
Frostmourne on the other hand is the same model, but with more polygons. Its not a completely different model where it drastically changes from one expansion to one several expansions later. You have such bad arguments while ignoring my question and going down this pointless argument of Khadgar which you lost by the way.
So ill quote it again and then after this ill just keep quoting my original question why ignoring everything else you have to say until its answered.

That’s why I asked as I did. It felt like a massive deflection on something they hadn’t called anyone else out on in any recent posts that I’ve seen. Being a part of that community long enough the answer seemed rather, dodgy. A sort of backhand answer rather then a direct one.
I suspect we weren’t going to get the actual Frostmourne, but a different two hander. That said, it would be a very cool transmog to see people use in thematic outfits.
Yeah at this point i would rather they just throw us the bone and give us frostmourne, i would like a dk specific class quest that unlocks it similar to warlock greenfire or something but really i just wanna be able to get it
